Our volunteers become part of our school community and help create a fun, international environment for our students. You’ll have the opportunity to meet young Algerians, share your German language and culture, and experience everyday life in Algeria.
Volunteers support our German teachers during lessons, especially during speaking and conversation activities. You’ll interact directly with students, help them practise their German, and bring a real German-speaking presence into the classroom.
We also organise events such as language cafés and cultural activities, where volunteers can help animate the sessions, play games, lead conversations, and interact with students.
Shifts are arranged according to the school schedule and agreed with the volunteer in advance.
* Respect our students, teachers, and team.
* Be punctual and reliable during your agreed shifts.
* Keep the accommodation and school spaces clean and tidy.
* Communicate openly if you have any questions or concerns.
* Be respectful of local culture and customs.
* No discrimination or inappropriate behaviour.
* Enjoy your time, meet new people, and make the most of your experience!
