Being the forever volunteer at the the surf the surf the surf camp has been such a unforgettable experience!! ❤️ Elisa is the best manager (and friend) you could ever dream for. Workwise, she makes everything clear and fair, with well-organised tasks, reasonable working hours, and so many lovely perks in return. The team, the guests, the locals made this place feel like home away from home. It's rare to find a place where you feel so welcome and appreciated. I feel so lucky!! See you next year, can't wait to sleep in my favourite little bed again!! 🛏️✨ Until next time, my hostel family, love you all! ❤️

I had an amazing 5 weeks volunteering here. The work was easy and straightforward, and you always worked alongside another volunteer. The work exchange was fair, leaving plenty of time to surf, enjoy the beach and explore Sagres. The hostel also has lots of social events throughout the week, so there are always fun things to get involved in. The best part was meeting so many people and forming new friendships. A special shoutout to Elisa, the hostel manager - she is incredibly caring, organised and nothing is ever too much trouble. I couldn't recommend this experience more!

I had an absolutely amazing experience in Sagres and couldn't have asked for a better place to do my Worldpackers experience! From the very beginning, I felt incredibly welcome and comfortable. The work itself was simple, well organized and went by really quickly, so there was plenty of time to enjoy the area! A special mention definitely goes to Elisa, she is honestly the best manager ever! You can really tell that she cares about the people who come to stay and about creating a good atmosphere for everyone. I would recommend this place to anyone!

This experience was simply incredible. From the first minute, I felt such a friendly atmosphere and amazing vibes. Elisa does an outstanding job managing the hostel and volunteers: everything is well organized, tasks are clear and shifts are fair. The best part was meeting incredible people from all over the world and building friendships I'll always carry with me. I learned so much about the surf house lifestyle and I already miss everyone❤️. I truly recommend this experience to anyone. You won't regret it!

Could not be happier with my decision to go for this experience! it was my first stop in Europe after leaving my country and i truly felt at home :) the shifts are clear, easy to follow and honestly always so fun that you don't even notice the hours passing! we work in pairs and that was the best to build our little family! (miss everyone already ughh)

Elisa was hands down the best manager i’ve ever had! everything she teaches and touches becomes smoother, more organized, and somehow more special- from checklists to communication itself! counting the days until i come back!

This has been my first volunteer experience, and I truly couldn't have asked for a better one. It's a really social hostel, and it's so easy to make friends with the other volunteers and guests as a solo traveler! I was expecting a bit of chaos because I was told beforehand that there would be a new manager when I arrived. But I have to say Elisa (the manager) is honestly doing such a great job managing the hostel as well as being friendly, including and a fun person to be around. The work is exactly like explained beforehand. I definitely recommend volunteering here!!

The manager Eli is a legend! Super fun and welcoming place to volunteer:) Would be a 5/5 but my wetsuit got taken so maybe keep an eye on ya stuff (the cleaner tends to move things around too!)

Volunteering at the surf the surf the surf camp was a truly lovely experience. The hostel and surf school is run by a team of warm, open-minded individuals, and I felt instantly welcome. Sid is an excellent manager: he lays out clear instructions and makes sure that the work feels light, collaborative, and straightforward. As volunteers, we had plenty of free time to surf, explore the town, and form beautiful friendships! I would recommend this experience in a heartbeat, and hope to be back soon!
