It was an incredible experience, one I would definitely repeat. From the start, Hilda and Jose help you, accompany you and welcome you as one more child, alongside the rest of the volunteers, creating a small home. You can feel all the affection and effort they have put into creating Campamento Mulata. If you like working with children, I would recommend it 100%. They are wonderful with them and being with them is special. Also, you have the three days off they mention, which gives you a lot of time to explore and visit the island. I stayed for a month and a half and it was one of the most beautiful experiences I have had. I miss it so much already!

Hilda and Jose were amazing from the moment I arrived. Both they and the children at the camp, as well as the other volunteers, make you feel part of a big family. Hilda cooks wonderfully and she always comes up with a thousand ways to help you when you need it, and Jose knows a lot, and he's always willing to listen to you and share his knowledge. It has been an amazing experience that I will remember with great affection. Thank you, Hilda and José, for making me feel welcomed from the first moment. They were always concerned that I would be at ease, treating me like another daughter. Finca el proyeto is created from love, art, effort and affection from both, making it a space of peace full of life. The children, extremely grateful. I already miss them. Minchi and Pepe too!
