The guest house is communal, vibrant place full of life and creativity. There was always something going on. The house itself is absolutely beautiful and the surrounding neighborhood is breathtaking and super safe. My co-volunteers all grew really close to my heart and I have definitely improved my (mexican) spanish. There was always some food and coffee and work hours were always fair. The place definitely inspired me to create again!

I had a last minute cancellation from another host in CDMX, and so did the guest house. Yami the volunteer coordinator responded quickly and the communication was smooth. I spend a little bit less than a month here and I could not recommend it enough. Everybody felt like family! There are workshops, events constantly happening. I build them a website, designed flyers and shoot some photos and videos for their social media. If you have marketing skills and a passion for artistic social project I absolutely recommend this host!

During the two months I spent in MDL, friendships and experiences formed that made this time very special for me. It is a community that supports creativity and shares moments. If you want to contribute to a local creative project, build community, learn things, and live different experiences every day, volunteering at MDL is a great option. For me, the women who created this project and all the people who are part of the community — volunteers, friends, neighbors, family, workshop instructors — left their marks on my memory and in my heart. <3 Thank you

I love the house, it turned into a home after months of traveling, and that is just the tip of the iceberg; a house by and for artists, super close to the center of Coyoacán, to roam and walk, in addition to the house being beautiful, ideal for people who want to share with others and enjoy CDMX, I would go back again and again!
