This was our second time visiting the winery, and I have to say it was a real pleasure spending time with Esra and Gogo again. They have a beautiful family, and as always, we thoroughly enjoyed our time with them. We had the chance to experience the 2026 harvest—it was fantastic and something I truly enjoyed—and we met so many incredibly kind people. We couldn't have asked for a better first Worldpackers experience—it exceeded all expectations! Our host, Gokhan, was super friendly, funny and always made sure we felt comfortable. We shared meaningful conversations we'll never forget. The tasks were easy, well explained and hours fully respected. His wife, Esra, was so kind and warm, making us feel completely at home! Their dog Ouzo and cat Sasha added the cutest touch—Ouzo always asking for pets and Sasha waking us up every morning! We had a great time! It was our first time volunteering abroad and we couldn't have wished for better hosts! Plus Ouzo🐶 and Sasha 🐱 are extremely friendly and cuddly. We made new friends, helped with household tasks and a bit of gardening and explored the area on foot, discovering small villages. The winery was a home away from home! Gokhan and Esra made sure to involve us where possible. We tended to the vines and did small renovation/housekeeping tasks. We also cooked meals and grocery shopped which we really enjoyed being able to do for the house. Our free time was respected and we were encouraged to explore.
