Volunteering at the hostel was one of the best decisions I've made whilst travelling! Ervin & his team are some of the kindest, funniest and most welcoming people. You'll feel at home straight away. The tasks hardly feel like work at all, and the hostel environment fosters a really social buzz. I did not expect to fall in love with Siquijor as much as I did, but it had a charm and beauty that makes you never want to leave. You could spend months exploring this small island and not run out of things to do. I would highly recommend volunteering at the hostel and will 100% be returning :)

The host was incredible. The experience to meet different people from all over the world. Practicing English and develop some sport skills, that for me was amazing on my free time (free diving, cliff jumps, boxing and dancing). Totally recommend for new volunteers.

The hostel is truly a special place. A great community of staff and travellers and has such a wonderful family vibe to it. Family dinners every night are such a wonderful idea. I'm very thankful for the team at the hostel & was gutted to leave.

I had an amazing time at the hostel :)). Even though it's hard to sum it all up in just a few sentences, this experience was truly special. The team really cares not only about the guests, but also about the volunteers. The working hours are flexible, the conditions are fair, and the location close to the beach is perfect. You meet many great people, make friends for life, and quickly feel at home. Leaving was hard, but I would always love to come back. <3

The environment is warm, respectful and build on real values. The tasks were clear, fair and well balanced, leaving enough space to enjoy the island, connect with guests and fully live the experience. Volunteering at the hostel was an incredible experience and truly the best hostel in Siquijor. The work was easy and relaxed, and Ervin genuinely cares about his workers, volunteers, and guests. I'm very grateful for the opportunity to volunteer here and enjoy activities like island rides, daily family dinners, nights out at the bridge and JJs, and spending time with the hostel dogs Agra, Gozo, and Callao. Volunteering at the hostel was nothing short of amazing, a once in a lifetime experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed into a community full of warm, creativity and connection. I had a lovely time at the hostel. The hostel is very social and attracts a great crowd. I met so many people from all over the world and made a lot of friends. The work is very chill, socialising with guests, helping them plan their day, tidying the breakfast table and helping with check-ins. Once a week I would take guests on a ride around the island to different spots which was a lot of fun! I stayed for 3.5 weeks and definitely could have stayed longer. Siquijor is amazing too, so much to do and lovely beaches.
