Mr. Hayak and Topang helped me with everything, getting settled and being part of their community. Also all the guys were so lovely, really feels the family vibes.
My teaching experience was at an English school, which I enjoyed because we had materials to teach. I had an awesome time and definitely recommend it. Wish I could stay longer & know how to drive scooter to be more independent, but they helped out with that too! ❤️

An unforgettable experience with this wonderful community. They made me feel like part of the family from day one. Teaching English has been a real pleasure; the students are always motivated, and the support from the other teachers is invaluable. Activities are organised throughout the week : getting together in the evening to sing, visiting the waterfall, playing music round a campfire or simply having a coffee. I couldn't have been made to feel more welcome, and there's only one thing I'm looking forward to: being able to go back there.

I had an amazing time at the organization. M.Ahyak, Opan, Diana and Holis really did an amazing job at making me feel welcome in the community. They were very helpful and I got to discover Lombok's attractions and local communities during the day and taught English from 4-6pm. It was a pleasure to teach the kids. In the evening dinners or get togethers were often organised giving us the opportunity to spend time with M.Ahyak's family and to meet the other volunteers.

This experience has been one of the best in all my travels and also In my life. I came here on a whim trusting it would work out and am so glad I did bc I really really loved it.I've done 7 volunteerings and this has been my favorite one. Opan and holis were amazing hosts, the work teaching was sometimes challenging but mainly just very fun and fulfilling. The kids are SO CUTE and sweet and you will be a celebrity because the village is local. It was really cool to get so connected to a place without any tourists really. Everyone is so welcoming and there is so much to do and explore nearby!

I did many volunteers in my life and this one was definitely so special !! I think what makes it so beautiful is the chance to really immerse yourself in the local culture. Go there ready to learn everything about Lombok tradition, sing every night, meeting so many people in the community, try delicious food everyday ! I will really miss everything from this experience ! About the job itself is very flexible and everyday I was teaching few hours a class of kids 🤍 during the weekend you can go explore the island, it truly has SO much to offer ! Thank you again for this amazing experience🫶🏻

The food we had was amazing! We were welcomed to share meals with so many different groups in the community & other volunteers. We were able to help prepare for a wedding and be apart of the wedding party which was an amazing and unique experience. We both loved teaching and the students were all willing to learn and eager. We 1000% recommend this volunteering experience, we had the most amazing experience and will love to come back again one day. We arrived as a stranger left as a family.

We had the most amazing time on this volunteering experience! We spent just under 3 weeks with Aziz & Vivi, our wonderful host family. In that time we had so many special & unique experiences that we wouldn't have had without this opportunity. We were lucky enough to experience Lombok, Indonesian & Muslim culture through loads of different activities & experiences shared with us by our host family & the wider community. We were able to interact with so many different groups in the community who were kind & generous like no one we've met. We loved teaching at Yana's school.
