The experience

Join Qhia Work & Stay in San Cristóbal de las Casas and help us capture what makes our coliving special. Create authentic Reels, photos and stories around community, coworking, nature, local culture and everyday life. We’re looking for someone experienced in photography, short-form video and editing, with a creative eye and their own style. Please share your portfolio when applying.


What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Content Writer: Write, edit and publish inspiring content.

Photography: Take, edit and provide amazing photos.

Video Making: Create, edit and publish digital videos.

Social Media: Maintain and update social media channels.

Program Details

Help us create authentic visual content that tells the story of Qhia Work & Stay. You’ll work on photography, short-form video, Reels, social media and visual storytelling around coliving, coworking, community, nature and local culture. We want creative, human content that reflects the atmosphere of Qhia and life in San Cristóbal.


Activities & Shift

Around 20 hours per week with 2 days off. Tasks include planning and shooting photos and short videos, editing Reels, creating social media content, organizing our photo and video library, and helping us maintain a consistent visual identity. Some weeks may include documenting community activities, cultural celebrations and special events. The schedule is flexible and planned together depending on activities and the best times to shoot.


Rules

have your oBring your own laptop and be comfortable editing your own work. Please respect guests’ privacy and always ask before filming or photographing people. Content created during the exchange must be organized and delivered to Qhia in its original and edited formats. We value creativity and initiative while keeping Qhia’s visual identity warm, natural, minimal and authentic.
