I really enjoyed my time at the project. It was a nice and unique experience, and I got to try fruits I had never tasted before, which was definitely one of the highlights for me. I also learned how to open a coconut and make coconut chips, which was a great experience and something completely new for me. The place itself was nice, and I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. I'm glad I had the opportunity to experience the project and learn a little more about permaculture and sustainable living.

Good people who are fun to spend time with, delicious food oftentimes straight from the food forest, and an altogether pleasant and informative experience. It's a rustic and beautiful spot right by the bus stop with plenty of nature to explore, and although the facade to the house is aged, it's quite nice and new on the inside. I felt welcomed into the family and right at home. Thank you for the warm welcome to Bocas :)

A very unique experience! If you're genuinely interested in permaculture, alternative ways of living and Ivan's vision of building a the project, you can have a good time here. The accommodation is simple and you should be prepared for jungle life, heat, animals and no electricity in the rooms. The work is physical, but nice if you're actually interested in the experience. I'd recommend it to people who are ready to put in the work and really engage with this lifestyle, rather than looking for an easy or relaxed work exchange.
