It was a wonderful experience!! The place is incredible, you can hear the river all day and it's right there by your side for you to dive in whenever you want. Also, everyone is super friendly and always welcomes you warmly. You feel an energy as if you were part of a family. You eat very tasty and healthy meals, and if you would like to disconnect from daily life and connect with nature, this is definitely an ideal place. Marco is a great person and always takes care of everyone. The project is very nice and surely every day it will grow and improve!

I really enjoyed the volunteer experience in Costa Rica. It has been an incredible experience. The atmosphere is very good and you feel comfortable from the very first moment. The tasks, though they are physical, are by no means difficult; they help you stay in shape while you help in the garden.
I recommend this place if what you want is introspection and a connection with nature; you will be in a wonderful forest, away from people and far from the beach, so if what you want is contact with local culture and the sea, perhaps it isn't the best option.
Marco is very friendly and willing to help.

Thank you, Francisca, for your kind words and your help. Just to add: even though we are in the forest, the beach is nearby, 10 minutes by car or 30 minutes on foot and 5 minutes by bus. Many volunteers walk or rent a motorcycle to explore. We also live with a Costa Rican family, so there is cultural exchange for those who wish. I'm glad you enjoyed your time here. 🌿

For my second month at the project, we continued to work the land in the spirit of permaculture. We spent incredible moments by the beautiful turquoise river that runs through the property. We also explored the surroundings — it was simply magical! I highly recommend this experience to anyone who loves nature, travel and human connections. Great place in nature, by the river at the foot of a mountain; it's nice to live, learn and work at your own pace. The people are welcoming and kind; there are mainly French-speaking and Spanish-speaking people, ideal for learning the language, a community under construction with strong potential! Comfort stays rustic but is improving; there are the essentials: electricity, a shower, a comfortable bed, internet, a kitchen that does the job, and enjoyable nature activities, just a few minutes from the sea. I recommend the experience! 🤩
