My time at Fisca the farm was amazing! Living on a farm in the Costa Rican jungle with this wonderful family was an incredible experience. Zulay's kind and welcoming attitude during our phone call was exactly how she and the rest of here family were in person. This was my first volunteering experience, and definitely not my last. The work is flexible, during my two week stay the main project was creating a vegetable garden. Besides that, there were many other daily tasks around the farm to help with. They showed me the beautiful region, with its amazing beaches and unique traditions. Thank you

My two weeks at the farm were absolutely magical. From the moment I arrived, Zu and her family made me feel right at home. I learned so much about Costa Rican culture, food, and history. It was such an enriching experience and one of the best experiences of my life. THIS is why I travel and this was such a fulfilling two weeks…my heart is full after spending time here. I was so sad to leave but I know I will return in the future to my amazing new family in Costa Rica! <3

I had an amazing experience volunteering here at the finca. The place is fantastic (at the heart of the forest) and I truly enjoyed activities like horse riding, construction and gardening. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, making me feel at home from day one. As a vegetarian, I had no issues at all, which made my stay even more comfortable. Everything about this experience was wonderful, and I would love to come back whenever I visit Costa Rica again. Thank you - Angelica, Jose, Rosa, Jhon, Antonio, Marsial, Mattia and everyone for such a memorable time ❤️

I spend two weeks at the finca, together with a friend of mine. The people there are very nice and caring. I felt very comfortable and taken care of. The nature is beautiful and you can really relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the Jungle. I would recommend going there if you are looking for some time away from the stress of your day to day routine in the city or if you just want to see the local lifestyle.

It was like home, this family is beautiful! It's really wild life and that can have it's challenges with bugs. They made everything we asked for happen 🫶 we had some communication problems at the beginning but as soon as they realized it it was perfect. Enjoy this people please, be proactive and creative with what you find in nature. Our food was planted in there and it's based on rice, beans, banana and eggs, mostly. Definitely you can get to know their culture and feel home.

Being at the farm was a very rewarding experience; I connected with nature, it was a totally relaxing space. Working on the land and planting made me aware of the effort required to harvest and cultivate. The staff, more than being staff, was family; from day 1 they opened the doors of their house to us as if we were a sister or another daughter. Regarding the time spent on work and activities, everything was wonderful; everything was well explained and we learned a lot. It was super nice to take care of the chickens, the horses, the dogs, the cat, the geese, the duck and all the other animals.

Trabajamos en el jardin, haciendo composteras, cuidamos a los caballos, pintamos corrales, comocemos la playa, el rio, cuidamos a los perros y a pintos, desayunamos con monos cada mañana...
