My time at the hostel was nothing short of magical! I loved spending my days here, whether it was working, exploring, playing music/hanging out with friends, eating group lunches, or so much more. This place has everything you want and then some. It almost seems like you have to go out of your way to not enjoy being out there, it is so easy to be drawn into the nature, and the cozy way of living. Anders, Anna, and Torre made this a very valuable experience. It was great getting to know them and engaging in conversation with them. I really felt welcomed here, and I’m sure you would too. ❤️

The hostel will forever have such a special place in my heart. Anna, Anders, and Tore made me feel at home in an instant, and the only thing that makes me feel alright leaving is that I know I'll be back next year! I loved learning and applying traditional painting techniques like Falu rödfärg and egg tempera, and working on creative projects while never running out of inspiration. What made my time here so glorious was everything in between, from homemade shared meals and playing music, to nature excursions and hanging out with little Tore. Thank you for everything <3

My time in the hostel was an amazing experience! I met so many incredible people throughout my stay and both the interactions with the hosts and team as well as with the other volunteers were very enriching and I was welcomed into such a trusting and appreciative environment! Anna and Anders let me try out all kinds of different tasks, so the work was very varied, which I loved. We could also be part of the traditional painting of a red houses, which was very cool! After work you could enjoy the great nature and the coziest little house, always filled with music, great food and conversations:)

The hostel is a beeaaautiful place (no photo could do it justice); it is surrounded by a lot of nice hiking trails and lakes. The hosts, Anna and Anders, are super kind and understanding; the work was always very doable and often fun :) we (all volunteers) helped renovate one of the houses while i was there, which was a really great (and educational) experience! so: 10/10 would recommend also: the food is really good!!

I had a lot of fun volunteering at the hostel. I really enjoyed getting to know the other volunteers and staff. The surrounding forest is beautiful and has lots hikes and lakes to swim in. The work hours were respected and during the low season the hosts made an effort to divide out tasks according to staffs different strengths. The staff meals were really nice to share together and the food was always good. I experienced the festival at the end of my stay which was definitely a highlight! Thank you Anna and Anders :) I recommend this experience to anyone who wants to explore Swedish nature.

Tivedsdorp is a wonderfull place and I had such a great time here. I got to meet so many amazing people! Both the Swedish staff and the other volunteers were very open and together we shared the best moments. Anna and Anders da good job. The schedule is clear and work hours and agreed tasks are respected. I like some more challenge in the work, but that's my personal opinion. My volunteering ended with a festival weekend where I helped run the festival kitchen, so that was my favorite part of the work. Would definitely recommomend this place for a reel Swedish experience!

I had a really nice time volunteering at the hostel in August. The facilities were good, the working hours were respected, and the work was easy to follow thanks to clear explanations from both the hosts and employees. The tasks change a bit towards the end of the season, which kept things interesting. There was a great atmosphere, and I had a lot of fun with the other volunteers. Ending the season with the festival was a great experience and definitely a highlight of my stay!

The hostel is truly a very special place! it's a place where everyone is willing to help you and make you feel as comfortable as possible. Work hours are always respected, and clear from the start. Tasks may vary a bit depending on the season and the number of people, but they're always easy, straightforward and fun. Anna and Anders are fabulous hosts, you can always ask them for help or just chat.If you run into any problems, they'll always be willing to help you. The forests, hikes, and lakes are totally worth it. I'd always recommend it and would go back in a heartbeat.

I had a great stay. The surroundings are beautiful and the locals are very welcoming. Thanks to Anna and Anders, who are warm hosts and made sure we had everything we needed. It's an ideal spot to connect with both Swedes and international travelers, while enjoying nature (lakes and hiking). Regarding the work, the tasks are easy to handle and the schedule is respected. If you're looking for a unique experience this is it. Anna and Anders are great hosts and I felt welcomed from the moment I arrived. The work hours are set and followed and the actual work is fair. I loved meeting so many locals and exploring the beautiful forest around the hostel. Can't wait to come back as a guest someday.
