Macclesfield is a very cute and small town, a couple pubs and what not but you will be very far from anything else without a car it is difficult. The work on the farm was fun, everyday chores are feeding the horses and cleaning manure and often weeding and mowing. If you would like to utilize your days off you have to express that in advance they are not scheduled by the host. Additionally, lunch and dinner are not provided so I would recommend going to the grocery store upon arrival.

Mi experiencia en la granja de Lisel fue maravillosa. Lisel es una persona muy amable, paciente y siempre dispuesta a enseñar. Aprendí mucho sobre el cuidado de los animales, especialmente de sus caballos, con quienes pude tener un acercamiento muy especial. El entorno es tranquilo, natural y perfecto para desconectarse. Además, mejoré bastante mi inglés gracias a la convivencia diaria. Solo recomiendo tener en cuenta que el transporte público es limitado, con solo un bus al día entre semana. ¡Por lo demás, todo fue increíble!
