My experience in the project was mixed, on one side Ceci and Roberto were so welcoming and very kind. The room is big and you have your own bathroom; it's really good! However, I expected to work several hours a day, since that's what I thought I was paying for, but in a week I only worked two hours, which wasn't enough for me. I was also the only volunteer, so I felt more like I was in a foster family than part of an organization. I suppose that if there are many volunteer activities, it must be very good volunteer work.

My little time spent here was truly magical! I cannot recommend a host more, immediately I was treated like family as I was welcomed into one of the most beautiful countries in the world! I would come back in a heart beat. I am already saving $$ for my next trip to costa rica!
I also got the pleasure of spending one day at the Costa Rica Animal Resuce. These people are making a real difference and it is so inspiring to see and help. The animals are unlike any ive ever seen, simply amazing.

The whole Ecovida team is very welcoming and friendly. I stayed for a week and really learned to appreciate working together towards a bigger purpose. They have a bunch of ideas and projects and it's always fun to be a part of them. For other volunteers I would recommend bringing a Fanny pack to carry around small personal items.
