I stayed in the hostel for almost 3 weeks and it was a very fun experience. The staff are amazing , the managers as well . The work on its own was simple tasks and the communication with the managers was great. I met great people both volunteers and guests and overall was an amazing experience. I would recommend joining this amazing hostel for sure and i hope i get the chance to meet this people again!

My first OB after being hyped for this chain. Impressive facilities and underwater aesthetic matching this unique city. Work is easy, but there is untapped potential as volunteers feel lost from lack of clear instructions on tasks or city tours: most of it comes from older ones, and events are rarely promoted enough. At times it felt like my skills, attention to detail and effort to connect guests went unnoticed, when some short term volunteers did the minimum and got away with it. Free meals at the bar switched to a discount, but the rich breakfast and kitchen with free ingredients are great.

I stayed at this hostel for 20 days and it was wonderful: the tasks are easy to do, the staff helps a lot to make you feel comfortable, and the hostel is right in the city center, which makes exploring really easy. I learned italian thanks to the people working there and thanks to the locals that come to the hostel every now and then, but I would also would recommend this volunteering to someone who wants to improve their english or spanish.

Volunteering at the hostel was lots of fun and a really enjoyable experience! Tasks were simple and involved lots of socialising and fun. Shifts were fun and diverse, allowing you to meet lots of travellers and learn new things. Everyone is really happy to help; the hostel has a great atmosphere.

I've spent a month at the hostel in the hostel and can say that it has probably been one of the best times I've had in a long time and definitely the best volunteering opportunity I've done so far. Most of the shifts were simple and fun, others a bit less fun. Sometimes I felt like the work wasn't properly explained and I was left to figure stuff out on my own, but the staff and other volunteers were always happy to help and answer questions. I've made friends who I will miss, who I will hopefully see again.

My experience at the hostel was very fulfilling, especially because of the amazing staff. There’s such a good work atmosphere. I was there during the World Cup, so somedays the job could be demanding as the hostel received a lot of people and there’s many things that had to be done, but communicating with the team and being proactive made everything go smoothly. I got to meet many people, discover the beautiful region of Liguria and also practice Italian - overall, very positive experience ! ✨

The hostel is a great way to meet other volunteers, local people and international travellers like yourself. The volunteering experience had great communication except for the last couple days but that was due to an event, other than that I felt very respected through communication! Work hours, meals, and space to live were respected and I would highly recommend this position to anyone!
