My stay at the hostel was amazing. Don't worry if you don't know much Spanish. Alejandra is really good at English! The hostel is comfy and well-kept, and it's in a great spot for exploring Samaná. The town added so much to my stay. The people are warm and welcoming and it is very safe there. If you love animals this is the perfect place for you! The pets at the hostel added a warm and homely feel. There's so much to do and explore if you love nature and the environment. I highly recommend!

My time at the hostel was awesome. The energy of the farm is amazing and most importantly Alejandra is super cool. It's set in the middle of a mountain range so you wake up in the morning to an amazing view. The work was never too hard and there's a relaxed atmosphere where you're free to communicate and have input on what you want to do. I wanted to teach some English classes at the school down the road and they were cool enough to build that into my schedule. If you're into mountains, rivers, waterfalls, coffee, and perfect weather this place is for you.

It is a very beautiful space; you can feel the love that goes into every detail in the house. What I loved the most was the view of the mountain and having the river ten minutes away just for you 💜✨; in addition, I greatly value the excellent energy and kindness of Maria and Jhon. For me, it was a beautiful experience of natural disconnection and of contributing my grain of sand to contribute to the order and harmony of the space. Very grateful 🫶

The house is a very beautiful and special place, it is perfect for connecting with nature and enjoying a few very peaceful days. I loved the volunteering for the flexibility and the possibility to propose and do the creative work with a lot of freedom. It is a charming place and I would definitely recommend it.

As Alejandra was not present, we were greeted by Marcela, who showed us the house. Marcela was very kind and very attentive to everything we needed. Alejandra explained to us via video call everything we needed to know for the job and was available at all times in case we had any questions. the house is a beautiful place, with mountains and rivers, so there is a lot to explore. We highly recommend this volunteering; the work hours are flexible and, although content editing always takes a little more time than one plans, there is still plenty of free time!

I went to the house to help with social media, and María Alejandra gave me total freedom to develop my tasks. She was always available for any idea or proposal that came up. During my stay Dante, Ginebra and Curry accompanied me the whole time, which made the experience even more beautiful. The place has a beautiful view, it is very clean and safe. But something I also liked a lot was the energy of the place. The experience was very pleasant, Doña Luz and María Alejandra were very attentive with us, we felt warmly welcomed, we shared in the town a pleasant moment, all the time we laughed, there are many things to do at the hostel, more than anything manual labor, repairs and maintenance of the social areas.
