I don't think there are enough words to describe just how wonderful this experience was. It was a great volunteer experience. But where I would normally pause to talk about the hosts (who were always so kind to me), in this review I'm going to focus on the town and the children. They made me feel as if I'd always lived there. Always helpful, always ready to play. For anyone reading this who wants to try a volunteer program where they feel like they're part of something important, this is the answer. Thank you, PEFF, and thank you, the organization!!

What a great two weeks! I felt warmly welcomed throughout my entire experience. The teachers and staff are all friendly and helpful. The students are sweet, excited to learn and super cute! The location is removed so expect to get places using the bike. I was able to catch a ride to the nearest city once but the rest of the time I relied on the bicycle. There are a couple of shack cafe thingys around and plenty of little shops. I throughly enjoyed being surrounded my grass, tree, birds etc !! Be prepared to feel relaxed while also contributing positively to a kids day with each interaction!

One of the best few months of my life. Meeting the locals was the best part, along with teaching children English was extremely enjoyable and impactful.

I had a great time at the the school. Hani is great at communicating things beforehand and during your stay and will respond quickly if you have any queries. Kru Yai the teacher there is also wonderful, she is a sweet person and helps translate during the English classes. It's a nice mix of having lots of classes everyday and also lots of free time. I liked that you had a lot of freedom when it came to planning the lessons so you could make games and make the classes fun. The students are very cute and the local community is very friendly and welcoming.

I loved the experience I had throughout my stay. Everyone at the the school makes you feel welcome from the very first moment you arrive. The locals are so kind and respectful. I love that I had the opportunity to meet other people doing this volunteer work and to immerse myself in their culture. At the the school, they were always willing to listen to my needs, and if I needed anything, they provided it. I'm leaving with a wonderful experience—thank you so much for having me. Thank you for everything!

I had an extraordinary time here. I enjoyed every moment from conversing with the teacher to teaching the students. I felt very welcomed and learned a lot from everyone as well. Every day was different and filled with laughter. I feel as though this the school has impacted me in the most positive way and I would recommend this opportunity to everyone I know. The students and faculty are very respectful and do what they can to help. I also enjoyed playing volleyball and other various games with the kids. I also loved speaking with the teachers and learning more about the Thai language and culture.

1,000,000/10! I cannot rave enough about this experience. I was hesitant at first to volunteer in such a remote location in a place I've never been with the added barrier of a language I've never spoken. As soon as I arrived, all of those worries melted away. Every single staff member went above and beyond to ensure my husband and I felt welcome, safe, and valued. There were absolutely no downsides and I really don't know where to begin with all of the good. The students are such treasures. If you have any interest in teaching in Thailand, please start here. Hani will guide you through it.

This was my eleventh Worldpackers exchange, and I had the privilege of being Bam the the school's first. Hani is a joy to communicate with and ensures everything runs smoothly. the the school is extremely welcoming and ensures that you have everything you need and quick to answer any questions you may have. The people of the village also receive you with open arms. For a genuine immersion into Northern Thai village culture, a warm, caring staff, and children brimming with curiosity, you'll leave with a full understanding of why Thailand is called the Land of Smiles!
