My husband and I were warmly welcomed by Vera and her son Simão on their family land. We stayed there for 3 weeks with the aim of helping Vera maintain her garden, refresh the exterior walls of her house, and place a few sculptures on her land. Vera is a stone sculptor whose work is exciting, with whom it was a pleasure to exchange ideas. Simão and his little family are adorable and welcomed us with a lot of kindness.
