This was my first volunteering experience and it was amazing. the school Nee is welcoming and friendly and recommended me places to visit. The children were so fun and smart! I will miss being with them. The other teachers were very kind and helpful when I had questions about the lessons. The food Madam Noy cooked was delicious! The kids are very lovely and they understand English well, considering they're only 2-5 years old. You lead the classes for them however you like, but if you struggle a bit, there is always regular staff, which is there to help you if you need it. The work is quite easy, as you only have 4 classes a day. Although the school is located pretty far away from the city center, the facility is in a good condition. the school Nee is very kind and always makes sure you are okay. I really liked my stay here and it was very hard to say goodbye

I had an amazing time at the school. She and her team welcomed me kindly and made me feel at home. the school Nee is so lovely and was very eager to make everyone happy and feel seen. She told us a lot about her work and explained well what is expected from the volunteers. This job is for people who have fun being around children and finding creative ways to teach them basic English and the kids are cute little angels. Btw, the accomodation is for three volunteers and very comfy and nice. All in all, I had a great stay. Thank you, Nee!

I loved my time at the school teaching English. Nee herself is a lovely woman, very approacheble, willing to explain local life, habbits and makes you feel welcomed and appreciated. I was new to working with kids, and never felt like that was a problem. Usually there was a local the school in the room with me to assist me. Defenitly feel happy looking back on my time here. The school Nee was really available and generous, she make sure we have everything we need. The other teachers are really nice too, and Madame Noy made delicious Lao food! I don't have a teaching background and as it was my first experience in volunteering, it was most of the time easy to teach them English and French, after finding some exercices online and activities for them If you know some songs it can be better to entertain them ! Thank you for everything !

I was teaching French to the kids and it was a pleasure to do it. All the teachers were kind to me and really welcoming. Teacher Nee is easy-going, you can ask her anything easily!

My stay here might be the most heart warming experience ! the school Nee Day Care is a paradise if you enjoy being fully immersed in the Lao culture. The staff will make you feel at home as much as they can and the lovely students are adorable, smart and mostly well behaved. I highly recommend this experience if you love working with children and is open minded. I truly enjoyed my stay and I wish I could stay longer. I am already missing the morning exercise with kids and the teachers.
