The work is really straight forward with tasks like cleaning the dishes, mopping the floors of different apts and etc... The host was very kind and respectful as me and my partner are very adventurous and she often gave us rides and very much considered our plans and tried to work her schedule around ours. That way we got to see Rome for 2 days, took many trips to festivals and museums, went to the beach and enjoyed hiking. If you volunteer here you MUST go to Bar Gelateria F.Lli Ciamponi in Scafa, ask for Dmitri and tell them Ava and Andrei sent you. Best Gelato & Secret Drink Menu ;) 11/10

Wow! What a blessing to have been able to stay on the eco village property for a whole month! Having spent so long with Nikki, Enzo, and Kingsley, I feel I have a great understanding of the efficient, hardworking, and caring people they all are! While it's not quite olive picking season this time of year, we were still eating delicious olive oil, peaches, figs, parsley, and lavender right off the property! My partner and I have very fast metabolism's and honestly eat quite a lot, however this became a funny joke between us and we were never left hungry! Perfect first WorldPackers hosts <3

This was our first volunteering experience with worldpackers and it was amazing. Nikki was very welcoming, caring, and attentive to everything we need. It's definitely a great volunteer opportunity to immerse yourself in the local culture. She respects working hours, and in our free time, we were able to visit the towns around Abruzzo Borgo. Enzo is also fantastic, very attentive to everything we needed.

My partner Gigi and I had our first Worldpackers experience at the eco village, we spent a little over two weeks with Nikky and the crew and had a great time. the eco village as a region is mind-blowingly beautiful and we felt more immersed in local culture than if we had followed the regular Italian tourist roadmap. Nikki was a great host, who respected our hours to a tee and drove us places when possible. Enzo and Kingsley were also great work with.

I can't fit all details in this review. Please reach out for more information. Nikki is kind and the area is beautiful, but organization and communication were lacking. Tasks often had unclear direction, and the shared accommodation had significant cleanliness issues.

READ BEFORE APPLYING‼️we left early due to our host, Nikki, becoming hostile on our first day of real cleaning work. We got yelled at by Nikki, then she denied she yelled. She seems nice at first but when stressed out she takes it out on you. Her apartment, which we stayed in, was quite unsanitary. Also she told us there was no lock for the bathroom yet later we found the key in the pantry to lock it from inside.. i dont know why she kept this from us, its basic privacy. We didnt feel safe there after this. Its a long story, and doesnt fit in the review, reach out for more details.

We had a truly fantastic stay at the eco village! From the moment we arrived, the experience was wonderful, and the property itself is incredibly beautiful. The location offers a peaceful and inspiring setting for collaboration. Our host, Nikki, was so kind, welcoming, and generous. She created a relaxed and positive atmosphere that made the work feel rewarding. We also have to mention that the food supplied was great—delicious and a lovely introduction to local flavors. We highly recommend collaborating with Nikki at the eco village to any future volunteers!

Nikki is an amazingly beautiful person with a heart of gold. She is very kind and generous. the eco village is on another level when it comes to beauty. The sunrise and sunset over the rolling hills and mountains is breathtaking. I highly recommend Nikki and the eco village.

Being in the eco village burgo was great, Nikki is a very understanding person. The view is amazing and you always work only the exact hours you are told to, they once gave me a free day because I had worked more hours the days before, they are always fair with you. I love meeting Janie al all the people around! I can give no feedback about the communication part because all the orders where given to me from other worldpackers that had a more constant communication with her, but I had no problems.
