I really loved teaching English at the host. I had a lot of freedom to choose what and how I want to teach. I really loved all the workshop that we held such as "Song Club", "Vocabulary", "Role Play" was veryfun to see how students apply what they have learned in classes. But my favorite was "Game Room". the host also offers very comfortable accommodation for its volunteers, which was very lovely. The working hours are mostly from 4pm to 8pm at the school, but you will also be working online some days. They are very accommodating. Thank you for such a wonderful opportunity!

I had a really great experience volunteering at the host in Arequipa. The team was incredibly welcoming, and the other volunteers were amazing - shoutout to all of you for making this experience so special 🫶 The main role was teaching English for 4 hours a day in the afternoon/evening. Occasionally, there were some additional tasks like helping with promotion videos. There were moments when I worked more than what was originally stated on Worldpackers, but I was happy to do so. I would definitely recommend this opportunity, I had a great time!

Great opportunity for teaching and such a good atmosphere amongst colleagues! Unfortunately , organization wise there wasn't enough guidance which created daily issues with scheduling/teaching and made it unenjoyable. Staff is receptive though so hopefully permanent improvements will be in place.

I had a great month teaching at the host! The school is well organised, communication pre arrival and during the stay was great, and the team are super lovely! And of course, a real highlight was to have my own bedroom and bathroom during the stay, rare for backpackers ;) It was hard to leave by the end of the month, would highly recommend this to other English natives looking to settle in and pass some time in Arequipa!

Great place! You don't to be native to be accepted. The Staff is lovely, very warm, always with the smile and here to help. I felt really welcome. It's 4 hours per days ( Also Saturday morning ) different workshops, music, vocabulary etc... The school already have a lot of pre-documents to do with the students. So you don't really need to prepare everything. The students are super nice and respectful. The place is really well located and you will share a flat with another volunteer. Private bathroom, Private room. Super nice place at 5min from the school. I really recommend it !!!
