I spent great 4 weeks here!
The hours and work were as described and even though I might've wished for a bit more explanation and support in the first few days I quickly got used to it and the tasks weren't too hard.
The accommodation was good and the location is perfect, close to the beach and supermarket.
There was enough free time to explore, although day-offs were sometimes announced at short notice after breakfast.
Everyone in Mauritius is super nice. It's easy to make new friends and improve your French and English. The culture is rich, the nature is beautiful and the nightlife is fun!

It was a great experience to really get in touch with the locals. The tasks are very simple and there wasn't much to do. The host is also nice and knows a lot about the country.
One thing that I have to mention is that the host doesn't live in the same building, so if guests arrived late at night he told me to do the check in but sometimes the people didn't come so I waited the whole evening apart of my regular working hours for nothing, which was really annoying. Also the place is not the cleanest but you'll get used to it pretty quickly. All in all was it a amazing experience.

The experience was very nice, I like the island there is so much to explore and I also met a lot of nice people. The work wasn't to hard, typically I was preparing the breakfast for the guests and after that I could choose what I would like to do for work, that could be typical housecleaning chores, laundry or cleaning different spaces. The working hours were expected. The only thing that I didn't like, was that the host doesn't life there, at first I didn't know who I will meet there and who is the manager. They didn't talk about the things I would get, so I had to talk to the manager aswell

The tasks are really easy and most of the times I finished earlier. I woke up, made breakfast for everyone and cleaned the dishes. When guests left I cleaned the rooms. The host is a really nice guy that helped me a lot and was always kind. The place could be a bit cleaner but other than that I had a good time
