Hoang and his whole family were very kind, helpful, and supportive. Their house is spacious and located in a lovely environment. I only taught for a few hours a day, which left me with plenty of free time to explore Hanoi and the surrounding area. I also got to try the local cuisine and felt safe and welcomed throughout my stay. I highly recommend staying with them, and I hope we get to see each other again someday. ♥️

Lily and Phuc are absolutely amazing hosts, who are kind, generous, and welcoming! I had a nice private room in the home which is close to the airport and about 40 minutes away from Old Quarter Hanoi. The food prepared was delicious and teaching the children was such a fun experience. Not a lot of work and very fulfilling!

It was a very nice experience, I had a lot of fun with the kids, especially playing with the youngest :) the house we were hosted in was very nice and comfortable, clean and there always was good food to eat. We got private rooms too :) The host family was very nice and I would definitely recommend the experience!

I had a fantastic experience. The hosts are very kind and welcoming. Everything was as agreed to, and the hours were quite few with numerous days off per week. The accommodation is well maintained and food is provided for lunch and dinner every day. The work consisted mostly of sitting with the students and practicing speaking. This was my first Worldpackers experience, and it was definitely a good introduction into international volunteering!

What an amazing experience! From the very first moment, I felt right at home with Phuc and Lily. Thethe home classes are very easy to follow, and you get plenty of free time, which allows you to explore Hanoi at a relaxed pace. The location is 30 minutes away from thethe home, but it is not a problem at all, as there are buses and taxis to get around 😊 If you are looking for true Vietnamese cultural immersion and want to make a real impact, this is your place!
