As a first time Female solo traveler, I couldn't have picked a better place to volunteer! Both Nelson and Dennilson are very kind and I really felt welcomed at the hostel. The schedule was as we agreed on and they really want you to enjoy your stay and explore around the island. I truly feel like this was one of the best trips I've ever had and I would love to go back one day!

I stayed at the hostel for just over two weeks and had such a wonderful time. Nelson, Andrea and Dennilson were absolutely amazing and so welcoming, I felt like part of the family almost immediately. The hostel itself is super social but also cosy enough that you can have a moment to yourself which I loved. I met so many amazing people, both guests of the hostel and local people as well through Nelson and his circle of friends which was super nice and made a real difference in the experience. The work life balance was great and the tasks and expectations were clear from the get go. Best time 🩷🩷

I've had an incredibly time at the hostel!! Nelson and Denillson immediately welcomed me into the family and helped whenever something was needed! The work was more than fair and clearly structured, so you'll have enough time to explore the island and everything around it :)) I've done some volunteering already, but this might have been one of the best :))

I had an awesome time at the hostel. The work there is super chill and the place is super cozy. I had the pleasure of meeting amazing people, both staff and volunteers. The island is super cute and you have nice discounts on everything you want to do.

This was easily one of the best travel experiences I've ever had! Nelson and Dennilson are amazing, always very kind, respectful and communicative. The hostel is beautiful and comfortable with a good location for exploring around the island. The work was easy and well-explained and hours were always respected. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking to meet some amazing people and explore the beautiful island of Flores :)
