Volunteering here has been one of the highlights of my trip 💯 the guest house has a unique, cozy energy that captures you immediately. You get to help out with the hostel tasks but also share great moments in the living room with everyone. The management team is awesome and supportive. 10/10 experience that I would recommend to anyone looking for a genuine, fun, and rewarding volunteering vibe in Japan.

My experience was very gratifying, it was my first volunteer job, so I have no complaints. Everything was according as they mentioned on the app. The job was easy, I had a lot of time off. I'll definitely do it again. Steve and Emma made me feel very welcome at the hostel, thanks a lot for everything.

I had a really good time at the guest house! The work is pretty chill and fair. You get lots of free time to explore Osaka and the surroundings. The location of the hostel is also great for that. Steve (the managar) and Emma were really nice and welcoming and made me feel very comfortable. It is a bit hard to connect to locals working in a hostel but I had a good time with the other volunteers and some of the guests :)

We actually volunteered in the guest house Isonoura - which was a great break from the big cities such as Osaka. If you want to be 2 minutes away from the beach from your doorstep (and surf small waves), the place to be! But if you're going to use this place as a base for travels, it might be more suitable for volunteers with cars. Alternatively , the train station is 1 min away. Thank you Steve for the flexibility with our schedules!

I really liked volunteering here! This place was great for meeting new people, international travelers mostly, but locals as well. I had a great time with the staff especially, which makes all the difference for me. The workload was super manageable and compared to other volunteering I've done it was very relaxed. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to explore Osaka and neighboring cities. Big thanks to the management for making my experience so great at Peace House :)

Great experience from the moment I got there the team atmosphere was really good. The two permanent staff members are super easy to get along with and have become really good friends over this time period. The work is flexible and the communication of the team was great. Osaka itself has many things to explore and a lot of possible day trips to do. I really enjoyed my time there and would always come and visit again. Definitely recommend staying at this hostel as a volunteer :)

I stayed at the peace house the guest house for one month and had a great time there! Thank you so much Steve and Emma for letting me feel safe and taking actions when there were uncomfortable guests! The working hours are as described, so you'll have a lot of free time! The location of the hostel is also perfect cause its in a quiet area but still close to the tourist hotspots! I hope I see you guys soon!!
