I also had the chance to work with amazing volunteers, which made the experience even better. Kauan, the manager, was always very helpful, kind, and willing to help whenever I needed anything. I'll definitely miss the karaoke nights and all the good moments! I feel very lucky to have chosen the hostel for my first volunteering experience. I'm still overwhelmed by the amazing experience I just had. Florence itself is already beautiful and a wondeful place to stay for a while. But what really made the experience for me was the hostel itself - the other volunteers and the staff became a real family to me really quick and I already miss all of them so dearly. The shifts are fair and even though it could be more clearly communicated whats expected, the others are super willing to help with any possible question. I really can recommend this experience with all my heart! Lots of love and see you again, the hostel! x

This was my first ever experience with Worldpackers, and I couldn't ask for a better place to stay. Both the team and the other volunteers were amazing, and thanks to them I have so many good memories now from Florence. They were flexible with the shifts and, even when things got busy, everybody was very patient and always there to help. I had the best time and would definitely recommend this place!

I spent such an amazing month at the hostel, I would recommend this experience! The staff and other volunteers were amazing and we all made so many memories I will never forget. The shifts were completely fine as well, especially the morning shifts, and they're flexible for feedback and personal preferences and always have an open ear if you experience problems. The location and the city are very nice as well. All in all I'm so glad to have been able to have this experience and grateful for the welcoming team!

I would definitely recommend this experience! Leaving was so hard I wish I could go back. Everyone was so welcoming and I learned a lot! Some shifts can be a bit difficult but the people your with make you forget that it was hard. truly made me feel at home for the month and I would do it over again every time!

It's definetely bittersweet to be writting a goodbye letter to the hostel, but my experience there was unforgettable! I was able to meet people from all over the world, improve my italian with the house keeping staff, discover authentic fiorentino restaurants and going on trips around the city. The workflow isn't rough if you're doing the morning shifts, and since I do remote work I ended up doing those for the majority of my time there and would still have time to explore the city. I also got very close with the other volunteers which made it even harder to leave :0 Thank you OBFi!! <33

I LOVED my experience at the hostel, I was able to meet so many wonderful people and the staff are truly amazing. I was so sad to leave and come back home because of how much fun I had every single day. The work life balance was wonderful, and the staff appreciates all efforts shown. I was able to travel to so many towns on my days off and explore almost all of Tuscany. I would come back in a heartbeat to see everyone again, thank you the hostel <3

The hostel was my first volunteering experience and now the bar is sooooo high! I couldn't have wished for a better place to volunteer - Kauã and Matteo (the managers) are amazing and really flexible, they definitely helped me feel welcomed and at home. I met amazing people (shout out to the staff and bar team who have a special place in my heart) and made true friends (i already miss all the volunteers I met). The hostel location is perfect, the working hours are respected and the activities are pretty chill (you can definitely balance the volunteering with exploring Florence).

I couldn't have asked for a better first volunteering experience! All of the staff and other volunteers were incredibly welcoming, and made it very easy to adapt and understand what was expected of me. The staff room was very nice, the hours were as agreed upon, and there were many other perks like free food and drinks, and it's super close to the train station. There are so many events, making it very easy to meet other travellers if that's what you're looking for! I already miss it there, and I'll never forget my time at the hostel. Thank you guys for everything!

I've had such an amazing month at the hostel! Everyone - the volunteers, the receptionists, the managers made this experience unforgettable. The hostel itself is very beautiful (I spend hours on the terrace which overlooks city center) and the location couldn't be better. You work 5 hours a day 5 shifts a week. The tasks are manageable and working hours are respected. One thing I would note is that work is time-based not tasks-based, so if you complete everything is 2 hours, you would still need to hang around for 3 hours doing nothing 😅 Overall, I'm super grateful for the experience!
