For my first English teaching experience, I couldn't have asked for a better situation. The school's location is in the center of Tunja, the students are respectful, well-behaved and each class is small, usually between 3-7 students. There is a lot of freedom to teach in the way you want. You get a comfortable private room in an apartment that is about a 10 minute walk from the school. Angelique was very sweet and helpful with day to day organization. Laura, the owner, is a kind-hearted, compassionate and engaged leader. She clearly cares very deeply about both the students her volunteers.
