I had a wonderful experience at the lodge! I stayed for two weeks painting and sharing my art and from the moment I arrived I felt genuinely welcomed. Louis is an amazing soul he went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and helped me feel at home in tarapoto. He took the time to show me around the city and area which made this experience extra special! The environment was calm and peaceful and the hotel is beautiful. This was such a meaningful and memorable experience. <3

I enjoyed my stay in the lodge. The tasks were as expected, they gave us a private room and even paid transportation between locations. The Lagoon Lodge was incredible. I would recommend it to people looking for just a work/accommodation exchange. There's not much interest in bonding besides the tasks at hand. The facilities are really nice and there are beautiful trekking near the area.

My experience volunteering at the accommodation was very good. Luis, the host, was kind and always respected the hours set for volunteering. The breakfasts were very tasty, the hotel is nice and they assigned me a private room, which made the stay quite comfortable. I spent a week at the Ecolodge and it was beautiful. The place is in Laguna Azul, about two hours from Tarapoto and 20 minutes by boat; they coordinated our transfer very well. It is an ideal space to connect with nature, as there is little signal and Internet. Luis was clear in explaining the tasks to us, and the work allowed us to enjoy the facilities and activities, such as kayaking in the lagoon. The hotel staff was respectful and kind; I would have liked to have a little more cultural exchange and learn more about local life, the flora and fauna of the place.

Mi experiencia tanto en el hotel como en el Eco Lodge fue increíble! Luis y el personal que trabaja allí hicieron que la experiencia sea muy amena. Los horarios y tareas pactadas fueron respetadas, la habitación muy cómoda y la alimentación muy buena. En los días de descanso u horas libres hay muchas actividades por hacer y lugares para conocer, fue muy divertido y la recomiendo al 100% 🙌🏼

The lodging is a beautiful place, we went to the one located by the Blue Lagoon. It is a place with very low internet signal, which really led me to disconnect, relax, and set aside my other jobs. The tasks were crystal clear and fun, not tedious at all; they allowed us to take full advantage of all the facilities and several activities and games that the lodge offers. I would have liked to share with more people since it was my first volunteering experience and the hosts were quite shy or were focused on their activities. Nevertheless they were always kind and helpful.

Mi experiencia estuvo bien El lugar es hermoso, si tienen la posibilidad de visitar la sucursal de la laguna lo recomiendo Siento que hace falta un poco más de intercambio y comunicación de parte del hotel, para que sea realmente un espacio compartido y de aprendizaje. Recomiendo a voluntarios que quieran estadía y trabajo con horarios fijos
