This was our first Worldpackers experience and we couldn't have been more pleased with it! Tiago and Silvi were a joy to be around, along with baby Dinis. The accommodation was beautiful and exceeded what we expected. The tasks were simple and incredibly reasonable considering what we were given in return. Most of the work consisted of cleaning the kitchen, mopping, vacuuming, bottling /labeling wine, and mild gardening/yard work. We also thought that Tiago and Silvi's flexibility and kindness were noteworthy. Highly recommend Sapatiero the winery! Thank you again Tiago and Silvi!

I had such a wonderful experience I had to come back again. Tiago and Silvi are so kinda and welcoming they truly make you feel at home. They are very flexible just communicate with them and they are happy to accommodate your needs if possible. Tiago's cousins come to the house often so you can play cards and go out with them if you'd like. Denis is very precious and loves to play, I enjoyed getting to entertain him. This family is truly extraordinary and it was a privilege to get to see Silvi's compassion and dedication to motherhood and how hardworking and humble of a man Tiago is.

This experience was once again great! Tiago's family is so welcoming and so nice! Remi is more than happy to show you around local cities around Marco de Canaveses. Dinis is one of the cutest little one year olds you will ever meet. He is very energetic and loves to climb everything. Tiago and Silvi are very flexible with the schedule just let them know in advance. I want to just thank Tiago and Silvi again for letting us come back a second time, it's been a pleasure being able to experience this experience.

This experience was a great first experience for me. Tiago and Silvi are great host and great people. They make you feel very welcomed in the home. If you have any issues, they work quickly to fix them. They are very social people and will have great conversations with you. the the winery is beautiful and their families are also very nice. Tiago and Silvi have both taught me a lot which is how to get better with cooking and how to have a better work ethic. Overall this experience was wonderful and I would definitely recommend them for anyone!

This was my first experience and I couldn't have asked for a better one. They made me feel right at home I even forgot I was World Packer at times. The accommodation is great, you get your own room and bathroom very nice and spacious. Tiago will take you grocery shopping to get food to cook your meals. I didn't work more than 4 hours a day, you have plenty of time off to explore the city, I visited Porto mostly but I recommend seeing the smaller towns closer to Marco as well. My tasks at the the winery included labeling and boxing wine, on the nicer days I did yard work. 1000\10 Would come back

The experience at Sapateiro was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. From the moment I arrived in Marco Canaveses, everything exceeded my expectations.
Silbi and Tiago welcomed me like family, kind, warm, and always making sure I understood how everything would work, from the photography to our time in the vineyard. Getting to know their culture, their food, and the story behind Sapateiro was unforgettable. Seeing their passion in everything they do made the experience even more special. This trip opened my perspective and left me with an unforgettable memory.

This was my first WorldPackers experience and I couldn't have asked for a better one! Silvi and Tiago and their families are incredibly kind and welcoming. They provide everything you need and the rooms are very clean and cozy. The tasks are very manageable and very easy to accomplish. The hosts are very patient with explaining tasks and taking your time to complete them. If you are coming during harvest seasons, definitely bring clothes and shoes to get dirty in. As long as you come with a good attitude and work ethic, you will do great! I recommend doing this experience if you are able!

We couldn't be more thrilled to have our first Worldpackers experience with Tiago and Silvi. They were excellent hosts and were very wonderful to chat with and get to know over the course of our volunteering. The work was very reasonable and Tiago even provided many opportunities to learn about the the winery and help with the tastings. We also helped with daily chores around the house especially to help Silvi and the baby. We were happy to help clean and try to make their lives easier if we could. We could not ask for a better experience! Thank you Tiago & Silvi for your kindness and patience :)
