Fernanda is an amazing host, and Sitio Do Mar is a beautiful place in Barra Grande. It is amazing to be right on the beach. The hours of work are very easy and chill. It is the perfect place to meet many Brazilians and international travelers. Fernanda is a very kind and understanding host, and was very gracious when I had to leave early due to family matters. I recommend this to anyone who wants to meet great people in a gorgeous relaxing part of Brasil! :)

My experience was amazing — the best volunteering I've done so far. The place is incredible, right by the beach in the heart of Barra Grande, and the tasks fully matched what had been agreed upon. Fernanda is a great host, flexible, and she really shares her daily life with us. The atmosphere among volunteers is also great. I even extended my stay by a few days.

My volunteering experience in Barra Grande, especially at the camping, was absolutely unbelievable! Fernanda and her mom are such kind and welcoming people – they made me feel at home from the very beginning.The accommodation I had was amazing, and the whole vibe of Barra Grande was so tranquilo… just wow. As for the work, it's quite easy – I mean, it depends on your skills, right? Everything was exactly as described, and it really comes down to your communication with Fernanda. It was a great chance to meet wonderful people from the region, and being part of this place, was a real blessing.

Barra Grande itself already possesses a wild and exuberant magic, with breathtaking landscapes to marvel at for hours. But what can I say about the magic of camping? It's a place full of life and art, which I dare say carries much of Barra Grande's essence and its community. Indeed, a cozy haven on the barra. And none of this would be possible or feasible if it weren't for Fernanda, who is practically a force of nature that takes care of everything, with a lot of attention and kindness toward everyone. I already have plans to return to the Sítio!

I came for two weeks and ended up staying more than a month, and that happened because I really felt very comfortable here; living by the camping is a dream. Fernanda is a very kind and good-hearted person, which made living together much better. The work is calm and the hours are flexible if needed; the place is magical, always surrounded by lots of music and lovely people! My experience at the camping site was wonderful, falling asleep to the sound of the camping and waking up with my feet in the sand is unforgettable. The tasks are very light, the bar has a unique energy, full of artists every day and everything runs very smoothly. Fer is a very nice person and very willing to make your stay perfect, a very nice group formed, I arrived with the idea of staying two weeks and I spent more than a month, I would definitely recommend doing this volunteering!! ✨✨🫶🫶

I met amazing places and made real connections that I will carry in my heart for the rest of my life. The day-to-day at the job is light, fluid, and really cool.
