I loved being a volunteer at the hostel. The work was really fun and there was so much free time to explore the city and go to other cities as well on my free days. The staff are amazing and mama is the sweetest. I can't recommend this hostel enough and I hope to come back🫶

This was my second volunteering and I enjoyed it so much here. The working hours are really easy and you have plenty of time to explore the hostel. The location is perfect and it's amazing that every day you can meet different people. What I loved the most were the dinners with Mama, she is amazing, it truly felt like home for me with her! I would recommend this experience to anyone, especially if u are searching for something chill, since the volunteers are 4 in total.

Great social hostel. The breakfast and dinner shifts are super easy, I never felt overworked. The hostel has great facilities. Getting dinner during evening shifts is a huge bonus. Would recommend this experience to everyone.

I don't even know where to start talking about my experience at home! This place is beyond special, the staff were all so incredibly cool, funny and welcoming. Mama is the sweetest lady and it was an honour helping her with dinner, hearing her stories and eating her incredible food The work was so easy and chill most days it didn't even feel like I was working, it was the perfect first volunteer experience the hostel is such an amazing city and I had so much time to explore and during my days off I was even able to travel to the Algarve and Porto If you're considering it don't hesitate just apply

This is my first time volunteering and I could not have asked for a better experience!
The hostel is beautiful and so well thought out. The work is fair and food is amazing. But the best part is the people I have met there. The staff and mama welcomed me with open arms from the start. This is my first time away from home solo travelling for this long and everyone had made me feel at home here which helped me with my homesickness.
I highly recommend this opportunity to anybody and I am so excited to be back in Lisbon again someday and “come back home.” 💗

Home was an experience I will never forget and that keeps drawing people back. The hostel is beautiful and made with love, the staff are amazing, the shifts are easy and fair. (And Mamma's cooking is fabulous, of course.) I've made friends here, went out, took walking tours and enjoyed the pub crawls. Enjoyed my time here so much that I chose to extend, and I know that some day I'll be back , because the hostel as well as the hostel have become a second home to me. 🩷

I had an amazing time volunteering here! From the gorgeous people, to the shifts that don't even really feel like work, the great food... I loved the breakfast and dinner shifts (where you still feel like you have the entire day left to explore), all the people I got to meet, learning about portuguese food… the Hostel is in the perfect central location, you're never working alone which makes it so much fun and the deal is super fair and generous. Lots of volunteers and guests stay for ages and extend cause they love it so much here! (saludos y abrazos para Gui y Lia especialmente✨)
