The hotel was my home for two and a half months, I don't have enough words to express how incredible it was to share with all the members of this beautiful family. It has been my first volunteer experience and I chose the perfect place to do it. I met travelers from all over the world, I enjoyed how calm El Encuentro is and how lively the hotel is at night. Lots of salsa, very friendly people. Ele and Jero were always very attentive and whenever you had a question they were there to help you. The reception work is very easy and gives you the opportunity to connect with guests, I have made many friendships.

Andre! It was a pleasure to have you with us during these two months. Thank you for all the help, love, and commitment with which you approached your tasks always. I admire that thirst for adventure with which you arrived; you left nothing undone, places to visit, people to take the time to get to know... I hope you never lose it; it's a very beautiful attitude towards life. Keep sharing your adventures with people because I am sure that you are an inspiration to many.
Thanks to you for choosing us :)

Being a volunteer at the hotel was a wonderful experience not only because it led me to many adventures, but also because it allowed me to meet wonderful, kind and genuine people who made me feel at home during the two and a half months I spent there :) The work is very simple and, in general, the vibe of the place is very chill: it's surrounded by nature and really beautiful landscapes. It's perfect if you are looking for a quiet place to explore the true Dominican Republic rather than having a tourist experience.
