I was scared committin to a month before ever being on such a tiny island, but volunteering at the hostel is so wholesome that you don't see time passing. A month flew by and I have no words to express in how many ways this experience changed me. You connect with so many people, there are other volunteers so you don't feel alone. The volunteer program is so organized, well thought, and with the support of Bea, everything is clear and you have more than just someone working with you. Big shoutout to all workers, Khaw, Pai and the owners that also made my stay unforgettable.

I had the best experience volunteering at the hostel. I spent a month here and honestly couldn't have asked for a better place to volunteer. It was such a great way to meet people from all over the world, experience island life and make so many amazing memories. And a special mention to Bea, who is genuinely the best manager I could have asked for. She is so kind, understanding and welcoming, and she always makes sure everyone feels comfortable and supported. She really goes above and beyond for the volunteers and creates such a nice atmosphere at the hostel.

The hostel has been a wonderful experience, eternally grateful to Bea who at all times cared about my comfort, the work is easy to do, it allowed me to meet many people and even make friends, the guests who arrive collaborate with the night activities achieving a community and a special atmosphere, if I had the opportunity once again I would definitely return, the only weak point, is the coexistence with the receptionist ladys, I did not manage to create a conexión, with them so when sharing the shift and carrying out the night activities it became a little uncomfortable affecting my perform

The place itself is absolutely beautiful, the people are amazing and the actual work itself is well explained and very structured and organised which made it super easy to understand your role! I 10000% recommend to anyone who is planning on coming to Koh Tao to volunteer here. Shoutout to Bea because she is a great volunteer manager ❤️ thankyou the hostel!!

OMG! if you have the opportunity to volunteer at the hostel DO IT! i had the most incredible time working here and have made memories and friends for life. Bea is the best manager ever and made me feel so comfortable and welcome, definitely someone you can trust and rely on. The staff there are so lovely and I miss everyone already. The work was very chill, if you're a sociable and outgoing person you will thrive in the evening. I was given proper training on my role and always had extra help/never felt alone. This is my new favourite hostel ever and my favourite island!!

This has honestly been one of the best volunteering experiences I've had. The host and staff at the hostel were incredibly kind, supportive, and easy to work with. The schedule was flexible, making it easy to balance teaching with remote work or personal time. The two students I taught were smart, curious, and dedicated. I truly believe they'll go very far in life. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a welcoming and positive volunteering environment with respectful people and a great atmosphere.

Oh where to even begin- the hostel was an absolute dream. The crowd that the hostel draws in is phenomenal and truely the best thing about the oasis, it really makes job feel like light work. The tasks were very easy, the afternoon shift is slower, focusing on check ins and walk through tours, where as the evening shift is where you'll be in the mix, hosting nightly events, taking some context, and chatting until pack down time. The Volunteers manager Bea is incredible, she schedules weekly meetings to discuss what's working/isn't, availabilities and general well being check ins.

If you get the opportunity to work here, go for it! This place is amazing. I worked as a yoga teacher for one hour every day and did four hours of reception work with lovely and fun Thai and Burmese staff, who speak English very well. The work is fair and allows you to meet a lot of people from all over the world, going on sunset, beach and parties with them. Managers were also flexible and very understanding on the schedule. The owners are adorable, and the volunteer manager is the sweetest girl I've ever met. I'll never forget my stay there, this experience meant a lot to me.

I felt welcome and included at the hostel from the very beginning. The whole team was always super friendly, which made it easy to feel part of the community. The shifts were well organized and it was easy to get into the work and understand the system quickly. The hostel is also very social – you have relaxed, chill vibes during the day but there are also fun and lively nights with music and people hanging out together. Besides work, there was plenty of time to explore the island and enjoy the hostel's benefits. I can highly recommend volunteering here.

The hostel was so magical 💖 from its location, to staff (the Bernese staff where incredible kind ) as well as Valerie & Pascal ( the Owners) so generous, creative, kind souls and of course Bee (the volunteers manager) the sweetest soul on Earth, always willing to to help and bring the best vibes in the space ✨🌺 I am incredibly grateful for the most magical time I've spent here (1month and 1week) Also the hostel in THE BEST RATED for cleanliness, social vibes, smoothie bowl on the Island 🏝️ ! The work was pure bliss, bringing our guests on the beach, for hikes, a bit of reception work
