Come join our friendly family of four (kids 3 & 5 + small doggy) in our house with garden & swimming pool in Saint-Marcel-sur-Aude. Looking for a native French speaker to share daily life and help us improve our basic French. You’ll get your own room, home-cooked meals and a warm welcome. We are looking for some help with basic household tasks, like cleaning, cooking & dog walks. Just 5 mins from Canal du Midi and 30 mins from the Med coast!
20 hours of help per week
Cooking: Choose the menu, pick ingredients and cook delicious dishes.
Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.
Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.
Child Care: Caring for, playing with, and spending time with children.
2 days off per week
Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

This is a simple cultural and language exchange. You’ll live with our family, help with light household tasks (cleaning, tidying, a bit of cooking) and walking our small dog, while we practise French together in everyday life. No fixed hours - just natural help and good company.

As we settle into our new life in France, we are looking for a friendly, kind, and trustworthy person to join us and help with a variety of tasks, including:

• Walking our dog and spending time with her

• Playing / entertaining our two children
