30 hours of help per week
Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.
Night Shift: Help with night shift tasks and create a relaxing environment for guests.
Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

2 days off per week
Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Since 2017, Trastevere Hostel has welcomed travelers and volunteers from all over the world. Join our international team and experience Rome from inside the hostel community!
🔧 What you’ll help with
🧹 Cleaning and taking care of common areas
🥐 Breakfast preparation
🙋 Help Reception during daytime shifts, especially around check-in hours
🌙 1–2 night shifts per week, from 23:00 to 07:00, at our main hostel or alternative location, both in Trastevere
🤝 Guest support and everyday hostel activities
The remaining hours are distributed between the different activities according to the hostel’s needs.

We look for people who are responsible, positive, respectful and flexible.
No previous experience is required. You should be available for 5 shifts per week and stay for a minimum of 4 weeks.
Shifts and activities are organized by the hostel team according to our operational needs, so flexibility is important.
