I would have appreciated a clearer work schedule and more notice about days off, so I'd recommend discussing this early if you like planning ahead. Vlorë has some charming spots and is a great base for exploring the Albanian Riviera and nearby towns, especially with a car. I'm grateful for the people I met and the memories I made. I absolutely loved my experience at the hotel! Gerti was very kind and clear when explaining my activities, and the whole staff was always friendly, welcoming, and happy to help whenever I had questions. I started by helping with breakfast, which I really enjoyed, especially getting to spend the mornings on their beautiful place. Later, I helped at reception, where the tasks were also clearly explained. I'm leaving very happy and grateful for this experience. the hotel is a beautiful place, but what made it even more special were the people and the amazing atmosphere. I would definitely recommend

I had a good experience volunteering at the hotel, working at Eden Restaurant. It was my first time working in a restaurant and I enjoyed it. I also had the chance to spend some time at the bar and learn how to make a few cocktails, which was a fun new experience for me. The work was fair and Gerti was kind, helpful and accommodating. All the staff were friendly and welcoming too which made the experience even better. I'm grateful for the opportunity and would happily recommend it to others ☺️

My experience in the hotel was the best I could have had. It turned my trip into something special. I worked at the rooftop as a waitress, meeting people for all over the world, practicing my english and my spanish, and getting to know the local people and cusine. It was a wonderful opportunity to work in hospitality and I had an incredible experience with Gerti and the entire hotel team. I was warmly welcomed and treated with great care throughout my stay. Being so close to the sea was amazing!! I could swim every day. My work house were respected and I really recommend this experience. :)

This was my first Worldpackers experience and a great one! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Gerti is a great host and immediately made me feel welcome and at ease.The morning shift was easy to follow and left plenty of free time to enjoy the area. The beach is only a 10-minute walk away, and the quieter location was perfect for me. Supermarkets, bars and restaurants are nearby, and the city centre is easily reachable by bus.I really enjoyed my stay and highly recommend the hotel!

There are two public beaches in 10 Minutes walking distance and there is even a bus a few times a day that takes you to the city center.
I can recommend this experience to anyone who would like to stay near the beach and wants to enjoy the off time at the beach.

I had another amazing experience volunteering at Valsa Hotel. It was great to see the staff again, they are all incredibly friendly and made me feel welcome from day one. The hotel is in a beautiful location, and during the summer the nearby beaches are absolutely stunning. My working hours were always respected, and my reception tasks were exactly as agreed. I originally planned to stay for a short time, but I decided to extend my stay once again because I enjoyed the experience so much. I highly recommend the hotel and Gerti!

I had a good experience at the hotel. It was really enjoyable to get to know the other volunteers and the staff at the hotel. The city was also fun to explore. I worked at the restaurant in the evenings. I sometimes felt a little confused about what I was supposed to do, but overall it was fun and I enjoyed the atmosphere. There was a really amazing sunset view from the restaurant as well. I was glad that I was given this role. Chatting with the other workers there was one of the best parts of my experience!
