staying at the farm with Noni and Yasir was a very enriching and unforgettable experience for me. People here are very nice, friendly, always willing to help, advise. A month was not even enough time to discover the whole island, so I definitely recommend staying for a longer time and really enjoy Lombok and get to know the local life better. Compared to Kuta, the farm is quiet, calm and you will meet much fewer people here, which suited me personally. It was a great place to relax, do some grounding work in the garden, but also as a base for a road trip or surf. I am grateful!

My week at the project flew by, and saying goodbye was harder than I expected. Noni, Asur and their son welcomed me like family from day one. The flexible schedule gave me time to explore Lombok, and they even helped me rent a scooter. The food was delicious, with menu options every day, plus BBQ nights, movie nights and cooking classes. I met some incredible people here and left with real friends. I truly hope to come back one day!

I spent three weeks at the project, and it was wonderful. Jasur and Noni are the sweetest , the cheesecake is to die for, and you learn a lot of things working on the farm. Nice to be away from the busyness of Kuta, waking up with the roosters, and helping support their family farm. It is close enough to town if you want to go, and the beaches nearby are great. I would highly recommend Folk Cafe 5min to the west of the farm. Beautiful view, and you can go paragliding from there if you're feeling bold. Would recommend, I had a great time. 🤙

My time at the project was incredible!! it's hard to put just how special it was into words. Jasur and Noni were so kind, helpful and provided me with a rental motorbike for my stay + anything else i needed. i really felt comfortable during my stay, just like i was at home! the work was very manageable and leaves you with a lot of free time to explore the beautiful surroundings. the little community Noni and Jasur have built here is really awesome. they are both super passionate about what they do and it's reflected in the farm. thanks for my stay, i hope to be back sometime soon :)

I was truly happy at the project. Meeting Jasur, Noni and Molhem (the family that owns the farm) was a special experience. They are like my dream come true - having built such a happy place as a family with their own hands! Every day was filled with smiles, friendliness, interesting discussions, events & learnings. It felt like having an extended family in Lombok, I was always happy to come back to the farm after surfing & discovering Lombok. The tasks and timings were flexible, I felt valued for my work. Thank you for all the lovely memories!!! I hope to come back in the future!

It's hard to find the words to express just how special my time at the project was. From the first moment Jasur and Noni welcomed me into their home like family and it was such an honour to learn about them and the farms initiative over the 10 days. The work is relaxed, interesting and self led with lots of time to explore the area and connect with locals. It was such a joy to be a part of the community they've built here and I can't wait to see how it develops with all its love and care. I'd encourage anyone looking to slow down, reconnect and learn to visit the farm. Until next time! ❤️

Volunteering at Mawun Valley Fram was an incredible experience. The work hours were very flexible and i could choose what projekt i would like to work on. I could learn a lot about permaculture. Moreover, the food we got every day from Noni's cafe was amazing. Due to the flexible working hours i could go surfing and exploring the island. The hosts, Noni and Jasur, are very welcoming. I had a great time and would definitely recommend this volunteer experience!

Jasur and Noni were very welcoming and experienced hosts. The work is truly nature immersive! You decide your hours and tasks based on the farm priorities and there’s so much to learn from Jasur who is an entrepreneur with a farming background. They felt like family and always checked in on the volunteers, offering snacks and treats throughout the stay outside of the allotted two meals. You can rent a scooter through Yusef to explore around the island or they are flexible with driving you too! The cabins are comfy although tough to walk to during rainy season. Thank you for having me!
