The hostel is the best hostel you can stay and volunteer at in Puerto Natales. Location - away from the downtown noise / pedestrians, close to supermarkets and the bus station, high level ground so you get a beautiful morning coffee view of the waters and many rainbows 🌈 Volunteer perks - I felt truly welcomed as a part of the team, and had access to some really nice bikes and camping gear to take with me for hikes. Team - Nico is such a friendly, fair, warm host!Puerto Natales has many sites besides torres del paine, and Nico gives wonderful tips on them during your stay :)

It was a pleasure to spend two weeks at Hostal el hostel. Nico is an amazing host who helps all the volunteers to get to know Puerto Natales and Torres del Paine as well. The work is physical, but with clear and direct instructions, and with enough free time and flexibility. During my stay at the hostel, I felt at home. Thanks to Nico (and the other volunteers) for making unforgettable memories

Undoubtedly it has been one of the best experiences I have had; being part of the hostel was being part of a family, where the good vibes and the human quality abound. Nicolás, besides being an excellent host, is a great friend, with whom you can have very fun and interesting conversations, and at the same time he is super clear, honest, and organized regarding what the tasks refer to. I 100% recommend this experience.

My experience at the hostel was amazing!
The host Nicolás is a really nice person, super friendly, always willing to help with everything — both in day-to-day tasks and with tips about tours and places to visit in Puerto Natales.
At the hostel, the tasks were well distributed: we helped with cleaning, organization, and general support. The other volunteers were also super kind, and everything contributed to a wonderful experience.
