I had a blast working for Maddie and Jared at the host Nourish the host. I had so much fun working at the host, making coffees, assisting in kombucha making, and helping with prep. Not only was the work fun but Maddie and Jared are some of the coolest people I've met. They are very caring and you can tell they love what they do. Working and hosting the Saturday Jam night was my favorite. It was great waking up everyday in a little slice of paradise even without service in the bush. I meet so many awesome people! I highly recommend volunteering here.

I had a great experience at the host and at Waves Campground. Maddie and Jared are easy to work with, patient, and offer helpful feedback. I got to help in many different ways, like food preparation, cleaning dishes, serving food, and I also learnt how to use the coffee machine. There are guides and tasks listed out, and things are labelled and organised in the host. The open mic jam nights on Saturday were also a highlight, it was really nice to watch people share their musical talents, jokes or stories :)

Words can't describe how much Swells has impacted my life for the better. It will always have a special place in my heart. It was an amazing beautiful location, working in a café surrounded by nature. Be prepared to live amongst bugs as well. To come work at Swells, be prepared to fall in love with the food and the drinks as I did :)! I have learned so much in regards to healthy eating, and vegan cooking, skills I'll use in my life moving forward! So thankful!

I had an amazing time here with Jared and Maddie at the host, and an amazing time with the other volunteers at waves! the host is a really fun place to work, and I've learned a lot about vegan cooking and kombucha! Jared and Maddie are some of the kindest people I have ever met, and I am so glad to have had this experience here at Swells the host!

Volunteering at the host was such an incredible experience! I was able to learn so many different things from making healthy foods, learning the host operations, and even some gardening experience. And the whole environment for the volunteers is interactive and involved within the community. I am lucky to have been able to find this opportunity and enjoyed every moment of my time here.
