My time at the hostel was incredible. The whole family is so nice and accommodating. I came with my boyfriend and they made sure to schedule us so that we could have our days off together which was super nice. If there was an activity like a soccer game or if you wanted to hike the volcano as a volunteer they wouldn't hesitate to cover your shift, so long as you covered another shift. They were truly so nice and cared about you as a person, as a volunteer, and more. The work is easy to learn and the shifts are only 5 hours with 3 days off (during high season). I would absolutely do it again!

This really is a special place to volunteer. Tomas, Marilyn, Pilar, Joaquin, and Daniel immediately make you feel like part of the family. All of the terms of the volunteering agreement are met and far beyond. Nothing about our volunteering felt transactional, and everyone went out of their way to help us and make us feel like part of a family. The hosts really make it a point to involve the volunteers in special parts of their own lives, which fosters a great volunteer community. These will be some of the nicest people you will meet in your travels for sure!

Volunteered for 3 weeks, absolutely loved my stay, the facilities were amazing and much nicer then anywhere I've stayed for the past 6 months of backpacking. The owners of the property are a lovely tight nit family who are always around if and when help is needed. Pucon was extremely wet and cold when I was there so didn't get to do as much stuff as I wanted to but the hours and days off are great so the option was always there. I can really see the hostel becoming the hostel to stay in for Pucon in the coming years !!

They welcomed us very, very well! It was an incredible experience. The hostel is a very fun place and we met a lot of people. From our own volunteer teammates, the hostel owners (tomas, Marilyn, pilar, titi, el nene) and the guests themselves. A very nice atmosphere is created. We are extremely grateful for this first experience; it undoubtedly sets the bar very high! Marilyn and Tomás are always there to help us with whatever comes up, and the working hours were always very respected. Thank you so much!! We'll be back

This place is amazing, the ubication, the place and the family, all is great. Estuve tres semanas, y en ese tiempo pude conocer mucha gente, poner en práctica mi inglés, conocer lugares bonitos y sobre todo trabajar en base a mis conocimientos, porque las tareas son destinadas de forma personal y pensando en las habilidades de cada uno, lo que me permitió dar lo mejor de mí. Es una experiencia totalmente recomendable, Pilar, quien se encuentra presente durante toda la jornada siempre tiene la mejor disposición en caso de cualquier cosa. La ubicación del hostel es un privilegio! Me encantaron los animales, el entorno y las instalaciones. Si bien pudimos visitarlos en invierno, nunca tuvimos frío y la familia se encargó de cuidar de nosotras y de ayudarnos en cualquier duda. El horario de trabajo varió durante las semanas y fue bastante flexible. Los dueños ( y principalmente Pilar) fueron súper atent@s y nos permitieron comunicar cualquier inquietud o molestia con el trabajo. Asimismo, tuvimos la oportunidad de tener una gran actividad grupal y de compartir bastante con otros voluntarios. Experiencia recomendada!!

La experiencia en el hostel fue hermosa destacó mas que nada la calidad humana de toda la familia, siempre simpática, con una sonrisa y dispuesta a escuchar cualquier sugerencia que uno tenga para ellos, enseñan con pasión las tareas que hay que desempeñar. En lo personal, me toco una parte linda del proceso que fue antes de su inauguración. No pude hace los trabajos de recepcion e hice mas trabajos de mantenimiento pero aprendí mucho de eso y reafirme conocimientos que tenia, gracias a Marilyn, Tomas, Pilar, Joaquin y Daniel, el hostel es hermoso y esta en una gran ubicacion en el centro de pucon
