Me and my friend had such a great time in the hostel I would recommend this to anyone! Everyone in the hostel was so nice and welcoming, it definitely felt like a family. The work was super easy, the food and location was great and there was always plenty of activities going on so we never got bored. We also really enjoyed the free desert buggy and sandboarding. I would definitely come back, 10/10 experience :)

I really, really enjoyed my stay. I met so many amazing new people and had the chance to take on a wide variety of new tasks. Nina and Charell are incredibly kind and caring people, and I truly enjoyed spending time with them. I can wholeheartedly recommend this volunteering experience to anyone. My tasks were very diverse, so every day was different and there was always something new to do. The working hours were great, and the accommodation was comfortable and welcoming. Overall, it felt like being part of a small family, which made the whole experience even more special.

I had a really good experience here. Nina was friendly, relaxed, and easy to communicate with. The work was fair and not too demanding, mainly cleaning common areas and guest rooms. The hostel had a nice social atmosphere, comfortable rooms and beds, and the kitchen had everything needed for cooking. The free buggy and museum tours were also a great bonus. I would definitely recommend this place to other volunteers.

The volunteering was okay, some days we did nothing and other days we did everything. Honestly, I would prefer a more stable workload in general. There are a lot of mosquitos and I was bitten in my eyes twice, this made them swell up a lot and it was pretty painful, something to have in mind if you have sensitive skin. The host is sometimes difficult to communicate with and we had some misunderstanding. But on two occasions, he was outright mean to me and made me feel unwelcome. This almost forced me to leave a week early. But, we agreed that I would leave 2 days earlier instead.

Honestly, we are surprised by your words, as we personally asked you several times if everything was ok and even offered you a free future stay. We regret this wasn't discussed in person.
Our program (5 days on/2 off) is based on a task list and provides flexibility to organize your own hours. We see now that you preferred more rigid structure and had a different vision; we will take this into account. We apologize that the repellent ran out; we'll take care of it. All the best.

If I could describe my experience in one word about volunteering at the hostel, this would be AMAZING. Charelle and Nina are so welcoming since the first day you arrive to the hostel, they made me feel I am part of the family. They need help now with some duties such as painting, cleaning and others, so the hostel can be ready for the opening. The food is delicious and I could literally relax during my time in Huacachina. The place is simply PERFECT, a beautiful Oasis 10 minutes walking from the hostel, clubs and local restaurants close. Thanks guys, I recommend this 100%

We enjoyed our stay at the hostel helping with cooking and cleaning ahead of their opening in a month or so. Tasks were flexible and unstructured. Only a 20 minute walk into the centre of Huacachina which is beautiful!

Sem dúvida uma ótima opção de voluntariado se você quiser conhecer essa parte do Perú. Nina é um anfitrião super gente boa e flexível tanto com os horários e tarefas. As instalações do hostel para mim foram ótimas, a cozinha principalmente foi a mais equipada que já vi em mais de um ano de voluntariado, sem falar no café ☕. Todo que acordamos foi cumprido, tantos as refeições como os passeios no Museo, bodega de pisco e também o Buggy tour foi muito divertido. O hostel se encontra a 1,5km do oásis de Huacachina, você pode caminhar como fiz diversas vezes leva cerca de 20min. Obrigado the hostel

Hicimos un mural :) construcciones y reparos, ayudamos a tematizar los cuartos y un poco de limpieza también. Iba a quedarme dos semanas y me termine quedando el doble.
