I’m so grateful to Andrew and Addy for taking a chance on me as a first-time Worldpacker and for making me feel welcome from the beginning. The morning tasks were simple and as described, but what stood out most were the optional volunteer experiences they invited me to join, like helping a stray cat and bringing supplies to a community affected by oil spills in the region. It was inspiring to see how they engage with people and animals, and I learned a lot from our kitchen conversations! We also carved out time to practice my Spanish, which I really appreciated. Thank you <3

I felt very welcomed, appreciated and safe during the whole trip to Minatitlan and to the home. Everything was as descriped and even better. Both of the hosts do have enormous knowledge of the nature and different interesting topics so the discussions can run loong, there is so much to learn. I loved all the little details/knowledge about the nature around the casa. The kitchen in the home is a five star restaurant, I learned and discovered new exciting recipes and fruits and fell in love with the animals and the mango tree(s) and ofc with the hosts.❤️

Staying with Addy and Andrew isn't like being a guest or a volunteer in someone's home, it's like going to stay with friends for a while. The town is simple and not touristy, yet it begins to feel like home as you experience everyday local life and the genuine curiosity of the people you meet. Living with them enriched me not only through our meaningful conversations, but also through the constant laughter and fun! I left with a heavy heart. I was hoping to have a beautiful experience, and I did, but I wasn't expecting to leave behind people I wish I could see again in just a week.

We came here as a "travel couple" and could enjoy this incredible experience as our first volunteering with worldpackers and we were not disappointed. The volunteering at Casa Eugenio definitely exceeded our expectations and we'd love to come back!! Andrew and Addy are both such wonderful and kindhearted people and they made sure we could get the greatest taste of mexican culture. The morning routine was easy work and so much fun!! It was nice creating a bond with the animals. We enjoyed the time we could spend with Andrew and Addy and their whole bunch of animals - and we'll miss them lots!!!

It was an incredible experience volunteering at Andrew's and Addy's homefarm! Both are so welcoming people and we felt so appreciated by them.
We learned a lot about veganism (and ate delicious food!), gardening & harvesting as well as the local Mexican culture.
Collaborating with them was was such a joy and they always made sure we were comfortable doing what we were doing.
We also shared some great laughters and had interesting conversations.
The work was fair and as agreed. It was a pleasure meeting all the animals and creating a bond with them.
If possible, we'd rate it higher than 5 ⭐

Addy and Andrew are two incredible people who I am eternally grateful to have met. They have created a fair, welcoming and knowledgeable environment fit for learning and growing. So if you are looking to learn more about gardening, baking, animal care (human and non-human) or just looking for thought provoking conversations the home is the place to be. The tasks are as described and even though I'm not the biggest morning person, this place changed that. I honestly couldn't have asked for a better worldpackers experience, thank you for everything. I will miss you all. Till we meet again.

I absolutely loved staying at the home. Addy and Andrew were both so kind, open and went out of their way to ensure I enjoyed Mina. They are both so knowledgable and were happy to share . I truly feel like I learnt so much by talking to them! I loved how willing they were to share their lives introducing me to friends and family. I feel like I made seven friends (cats, rams and chicken included). The work was fair and as agreed. Addy and Andrew constantly checked in to see how I finding the work and if I was happy with my shift pattern.

My experience with Addy and Andrew was amazing!!!
Everyone there is very warm, the kittens, Francisca and Eugenio, each one has their own personality, and that is the most beautiful thing about the house, everyone is free to express what they feel and think without being judged.
I learned a lot in this place: lots of delicious food, tasty bread and a lot about emotional education.
Without a doubt, I would highly recommend this place.

It was a very beautiful experience, very kind and attentive hosts, the place is very comfortable and welcoming, the tasks were quite flexible, you learn a lot more than you think and not everything is academic knowledge, but also emotional, I highly recommend it, it wasn't just volunteering, it was a change of perspective, a change of mindset and a great place to seek peace and connection ✿

The two weeks spent with Addy and Andrew were exceptional. They welcomed me with great enthusiasm. They take the time to get to know the volunteers and their needs and do their best to ensure we have the best stay with them. I learned a lot about plant-based cooking, baking, animals, and especially about myself through this experience. I would recommend this volunteering 1000%, especially if you enjoy animals, cooking, and nature.
