My favorite part was meeting other volunteers and long term guests! I made some true friendships. If we needed help, the host was always quick to reply. It was a social place but easy to escape for some alone time as well. I really liked the old town hostel.

It was my first experience with Workspackers and first solo trip! I had an amazing time and I honestly can recommend this to everyone. I was lucky to meet beautiful people and have tons of mind opening conversations. In the hostel we volunteers were treated like a team! I had enough time to explore the island and enjoy myself 🫶 Thanks to the manager that took great care of all of us.

Volunteering at the hostel Surf Hostel has been one of the funnest, most vibrant experiences ever! Days of sun filled with surfing (surf spot literally 3' away from the hostel), long promenades in the beautiful city of Las Palmas, road trips all over the island, and awesome nights spent at the hostel's terrace with the guests and the other volunteers. A new home away from home, and people who feel like lifelong friends. Special thanks to Larissa for creating a warm environment since moment one, and to Estefi for trusting me with the hostel's IG page during my stay 🫶🏼 Hasta la próxima!!

Volunteering at the hostel was such a wonderful experience. I met so many amazing people including all the volunteers and the guests. The managers Larissa and Estefania were super kind and really shaped the hostel into such a welcoming, warm place. The work was manageable so I had plenty of time to go explore the rest of the island for example. The surf hostel is also conveniently located right by the beach with everything you need nearby. I'm truly thankful for the memories I made the people I met and the overall experience. I would definitely recommend volunteering at this hostel!!

I was supposed to stay only one month in the hostel Old Town Hostel…I ended up staying almost two! I felt welcomed since the first moment and the commitments were quite easy, Ayuz (hostel manager) is really calm when she explains what to do and I never saw her loosing patience with us volunteers. The team was great, I met ones of the most incredible people and we are still keeping in touch. At the end every week I had 3-4 or more days off that allowed me to visit the city and the incredible island of Gran Canaria with all its nature and traditions. I would totally recommend a volunteer here 🤙🏻

Volunteering at the hostel was amazing!!! I made so many new friends among the other volunteers and guests. Larissa and Estefania made me feel welcome right away and the atmosphere in the hostel was lovely!!🫶 The workload was really manageable with a lot of free time to explore the island. The location of the surf hostel is great, only a 2min walk away from the beach and everything you need close by. I'm so grateful for this experience and the people I met along the way. I would 100% recommend this hostel to everyone who wants to have an unforgettable time in Las Palmas!!!🫶

I really loved my time in the hostel!! Larissa and Estefania were super nice and made me feel so welcome. The work was really easy and chill, so I had a lot of free time to explore the island and also other islands around. Also with the other volunteers it was such a cool vibe - we did so many great things together. I would definitely recommend staying at this hostel, you'll have the best time there:))

Volunteering at the hostel Old Town Hostel was an incredible experience in every sense. The workload is really manageable with many free days per week, the tasks are easy to fulfill, the volunteering team was amazing to hanging out with, the position of the hostel is very central making you able to see the most of the island with ease. I had an amazing experience in the hostel Surf Hostel and I would recommended it to everyone!! The hostel location is perfect, you can get to the best surfspot of las palmas and to the supermarket with a 1 minute walk. The work is not heavy and they are flexible with the schedule so I had a lot of free time to explore the island. The manager Larissa is amazing and she helped with everything that I needed. We also have a good amount of volunteers and a few long term guests so you can really get to know the people. If you are looking to have a chill time I would def recommend it!
