I had a great time in the farm for my short stay. Silke and Tom will welcome you in like family and put you in a very comfortable room. Tom has a large workshop with every tool imaginable. Tasks were simple and straightforward – if you need clarification on any task, Tom would help you out. Hiking in the area is really beautiful and quite the adventure if you're with the dogs. Tom and Silke are super nice! They give you everything you could need, they are flexible regarding the work schedule and they are open to proposals. The work is exactly what the ad says. Although the final objective is more openly ecological, now the work is mostly cleaning, tidying up the place, etc. They're completely immersed in the community of the village, they propose trips and know the pros and cons about many places around there. Those were three incredible weeks! I am very grateful to Silke and Tom for opening the doors to their home and making us feel like part of it. They are adorable people who are always attentive if we're okay or if we need anything. The house is very nice and the area very quiet, a place to reflect a little on life itself. The room was great, equipped with everything we needed. The work was manageable; it required quite a bit of effort, but it was very good. We were always with Tom and, luckily, very kind to explain the tasks and with his supervision.

Our time at the farm was wonderful! Silke and Tom are amazing people! The tasks were varied (as much depended on the weather at the time we went) and they explained things to us with a lot of patience. The space for volunteers is really very nice. On weekends they took us to get to know places near the area that we would never have gone on our own! Also, they helped us with the language and told us local stories and we had a great cultural exchange. Without a doubt we would share with them again!
