About River Arts Club: River Arts Club is a beautiful riverside boutique hotel and wellness space on the banks of the River Thames. We are currently evolving into a wellness members' club, making this an exciting time for our community.

We enjoy connecting with people from different backgrounds who share an interest in wellbeing, hospitality, creativity, food and sustainable living.

The Experience: We welcome opportunities for cultural exchange, sharing ideas and learning about different approaches to wellbeing and hospitality.

Depending on individual interests, there may be opportunities to observe our hospitality team, exchange culinary ideas and learn more about our wellness activities.

These experiences are observational and optional. Participants will not be responsible for guest services, hotel operations, kitchen shifts or other commercial duties.

Accommodation & Experience: Accommodation includes a private bedroom and private bathroom.

We enjoy welcoming people from different cultures and backgrounds and are happy to consider enquiries from couples or friends travelling together.

Activities & Shift

Volunteers work 5 shifts per week, around 6 hours per shift, with 2 days off. If you need particular days off, you are welcome to request them and we will do our best to accommodate this.

Every day is different, with weekends generally being a little busier. As we are a small property, the role is usually quite laid-back, and we really appreciate people who are happy to use their initiative.

During quieter periods, the focus is on organising the house, light cleaning and helping us keep River Arts Club looking beautiful and welcoming. Once the daily tasks are complete and no guests require assistance, you are more than welcome to use the remaining quiet time to work on your own projects.

Volunteers are also welcome to join our yoga and Pilates classes free of charge and enjoy our paddle boards and access to the River Thames during their free time.

As we are developing into a private wellness focused members club, opportunities to earn a bonus allowance of around £100 a week ( dependent on project availability, and at Owners discretion) by completing light administrative projects to assist Angelika with her business development on top of standard volunteer hours. These projects are available based on needs of the business and are not always available but we are flexible so feel free to ask and offer any special skills you think could contribute!
