Mirian and Pedro were such amazing hosts and made me feel like I was part of their family. Mirian is also the best cook I've ever met and all of her meals were incredible (especially her handmade tortillas). The views of the beach and ocean from the finca were amazing and the volunteer room has an awesome private balcony. The rest of their friends, family, and animals you'll meet were also such amazing people (Matias, Nahum, Urías, Geradina, Adán, Samantha, and Pinky). I was only with Mirian and Pedro for a week, but after the first day I called them Mom and Dad. I can't wait to go back!
