My experience as a first time volunteer was better than I could even imagine:) The family made me feel very welcomed and appreciated. Despite having a car I still visited places because the family offered me a ride whenever they had space in the car so they made sure i could still see the island, but im really recommending renting car if u are going to visit and want to be flexible. All the tasks were easy-going and well explained. Anne and Ivan are great people and they are raising three amazing kids so if you want to be surrounded by nature, animals and great people I recommend this🫶🏻

We had an amazing time here! We felt very welcomed as they showed so much intention in getting to know us and making our stay comfortable. We had many meals and evenings together. The kids are incredible and every member of the family(humans and animals)truly make it a special place!
All the tasks for work were explained very detailed and it was no problem to ask questions or for help. Be aware that it is really offgrid, so even with a car it takes time to reach attractions to visit. But Anne was so helpful with finding things to do and made sure that we had a great time(which we def had :))

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for 10 days and it was a very good experience. Anne and Ivan provided a cozy yurt to stay in. I really liked how open the family was, which made us feel very comfortable and welcomed. They (also the kids) speak many languages, so communication was always perfect! We enjoyed our time together and shared some nice meals. The work was easy and fun, but sometimes Anne asked for more work, than we could finish in the agreed working hours (so we worked longer), still we enjoyed helping them. But if you love animals and children this place is perfect for you.

The family is kind and available, the children are so cute and funny. the land is very beautiful with a good view and is a good place if you wanna walk and explore.
You won’t practice spanish but other languages…
the place is in the middle of nothing…if you don’t have a car (like us) its really difficult to move around(and you don’t have either a village near).when we were arriving we expected to do yoga…but there weren’t yoga lessons.
they were a little disorganised in working
the work is different every day so you don’t know what to expect..(cleaning,tearing the grass, painting, babysitting).

Thank you for your comments. If you t rent your own car, we are always happy to pick you up as we did several times when you were here.
Concerning the tasks, they are diverse, and we are glad to adjust the program according to your preferences, we would have liked you to communicate it more openly during the stay.
I also happily do yoga with volunteers who let me know they are genuinely interested 😊

We had an amazing month there, the family is super friendly and easy to be around! Work wasn't too hard, depends on what you get, but with only 3 hours in the morning, you still have the whole day to explore. (Def need a car there!) The facilities weren't exactly as expected, but it is what it is. Be ready to live in the nature without all the comforts you're used to. Still, Anne, Ivan, the kids and the animals were great, would visit again if we're ever back in Tenerife:)

The experience was truly unique, full of wild nature, adventures and outdoor living. I really appreciated the family's warmth and kindness — the whole environment felt very inspiring. At the same time, it's worth noting that the finca is quite remote, so reaching civilization without a car can be challenging, and internet is often unavailable. Small improvements, such as keeping the agreed working hours (18h/week with 2 days off instead of 21h/week with no days off) and providing better food storage, would help future volunteers enjoy this experience even more!

I spent 18 incredible days at the farm, in the countryside, with a magnificent view of the ocean. Anne-Claire, Ivan and their children Esmeralda, Ivan and Anastasia were very welcoming, always with good tips for the beautiful beaches, hiking spots and snorkeling. The work was simple and stress-free: feeding the animals (dog, cats, guinea pigs, chickens and roosters), watering the plants, reinforcing the chicken coop and collecting the eggs, cleaning the house, the kitchen and the terrace. The hours were respected and are flexible. Thank you for this unforgettable stay 🩷
