I had an amazing time at the community! The team were so welcoming and the whole volunteer program was run really efficiently! The tasks were clear, the living space was great (the beds were sooo comfortable!), and the fact that all meals are included during the week was a massive bonus. It was also just really fascinating to actually see what happens to our used clothes and textiles waste. It's such an unbelievably huge problem, and it felt really good to be able to contribute (in some small way) towards a solution <3 I learnt so much in my time here and will definitely take those learnings with me! <3

We had a great time at the community! It was so interesting to see inside the textile recycling process. The team was really welcoming and eager for us to learn about textile waste and sustainability. The accommodation is really comfortable, the only downside is you have to get a grab everywhere to leave the industrial site, but we visited the city on the weekends. Thank you the community!

My experience at Upcycle 4 Better was absolutely amazing. The team was so fun, and we loved chatting and hanging out together. After work, we would play pool and other games, so there was always a lot of laughter and fun.

I'm sure this experience is a top 3 related to every criteria. the community has a very well organized and planned volunteer program that aims not only to have 'free labor', but maily develop the volunteer awareness about the Textile Industry and how individuals, organizations, companies and governnment should act to lessen the impact of their actions. the community has a tremendous infrastructure to accommodate severous volunteers/interns without missing confort, quality, and fun. It's impossible not to fall in love with this place and what they do. I'm so thankful for Aisyah, Sofea and Andrew! the community 4ever!

I learned a lot about textile waste, recycling, and the impact of fast fashion, which was very interesting and eye-opening. Everything is well organized and the tasks are clear and easy to follow. There are also nice activities like cooking and language classes. The accommodation is modern and spacious. There are common areas to relax and play games.
