I had the most fantastic time at the project. I couldn't ask for a more welcoming and supportive environment. Manrique is a kind and fun host, who provides the space for creativity, skill learning, and socialising. I would recommend volunteering here to anyone and everyone. You are living in the jungle, with beaches on your doorstep and opportunities for salsa dancing/capoeira/surfing/volleyball/music every day. I will always be thankful for the project, and the times I shared here with locals/other volunteers. 10/10 stars every day :)

Manrique and Marco were wonderful hosts! if you want to improve your Spanish, they accommodate to your request. We did a variety of things while on the farm and got to learn so many things about sustainable living, caring for plants and living like locals. He took us to the beach everyday and taught us how to surf! We went to a salsa party, did capoeira and overall got the ultimate Pura Vida experience💃The other volunteers were also such a pleasure to be with! Lots of great convos and good balance between work & fun. The experience was calming and you leave having learnt so much!

I had an amazing time and I'm truly grateful for everything. Manrique is an incredible host: kind, flexible, and patient. He always spoke slow Spanish to help me learn and improve. He genuinely wants volunteers to experience the local culture and shares the best places and activities. I'm so grateful I met you, Manrique. It was inspiring to see your passion for this project, and I can't wait to see it grow. This was one of the best experiences of my life. Don't hesitate to come—you won't regret it!

My time here was really short due to my personal travel complications. But I would like to thank Manrique for his kind communication and flexibility. Would love to come back someday.

I absolutely loved the project! It was my first solo travel experience and it was better than I could have imagined. Everybody, including the locals, was so friendly and welcoming it really made it feel like a home away from home! I recommend this experience to anyone looking to become more in touch with nature and themselves :)

Accommodations were really good & breakfast was always delicious! Had so much fun at the beach, surfing, dancing & playing volleyball! I had the best first volunteering experience here close to Nosara. The hosts were very good people and I felt very safe. The beach is a little bit further away but they generously came to the beach with us nearly every single daz!! I gog amazing tips and had a blast with the other volunteers! I feel very privileged to have started my surf journey here! Some departures to the beach were a little rushed but always worth it. The work is very manageable and I learned alot!! A big thank you and I will be back again;))!

Life on the farm is so fun. We get to work on cool sustainable living projects and have lots of downtime. Manrique makes a weekly schedule so you can plan your time there. Good wifi, and honestly the volunteer quarters were much bigger and absolutely great. Surfing and Volleyball and Salsa almost everyday was a dream schedule for me! The breakfast is delicious and Manrique and Marco are very kind and easy to work with. Really enjoyed my time here, Manrique will even give you surfing lessons if you are a beginner! Only downside is it's a bit hard to get around on your own without a car.
