My experience at the lodge was truly wonderful. It's the perfect place to connect with nature, from peaceful yoga sessions to kayaking through the beautiful surroundings. On your free days, you can even join the guests on different excursions, which makes the experience even more special. You also get the chance to connect with the local community and learn a bit about their culture. Everyone at the lodge was incredibly welcoming and made this volunteer experience unique and unforgettable. I genuinely recolmend this volunteer opportunity to anyone looking for a meaningful and beautiful experience

The place is beautiful, surrounded by nature, and the people are very lovely, the experience was very good. But keep in mind that it's a very remote area, and going to town or the beach isn't always easy, so there's not much to do in your free time. Also, the positions described are a bit different, I applied for reception, but they don't actually have that position there, so I worked in other position. So make sure to ask beforehand to avoid any surprises when you arrive.

My experience at the lodge was a bit unexpected but I made the most of the experience & pleasant to guests. I found the host lacking in basic communication at times. The biggest issue for me was a constant lack of food, and the meal times that were often late into the day (10am, 2pm, 10pm) after the guests ate. I found it difficult to feel satiated with the proportions given and often asked for more, sometimes given more and often times not. The other major barrier for me was a lack of a designated workspace. Also, I didn't get the training manual to ensure expectations aligned until the end.

I enjoyed my month volunteering here. My cabin was private and rustic, and meals were healthy, organic, and prepared by a kind kitchen team. The 'reception' role mostly involved serving food and washing glasses, but the tasks were easy and I often worked fewer hours than expected or could skip shifts for tours or errands. Nico and Aaron were very supportive, and the experience is great for anyone who enjoys nature and a remote setting.

A mix of sensations. A beautiful place, but this is what happened to me: A great frustration that makes you feel that you are not important at the time of meals. They show you that you are not a guest but also not a coworker. This creates a lot of discomfort and sadness. Our dishes (although tasty) were not abundant, usually they came cold and without small snacks or cookies, which were only for guests. You can do excursions by joining with guests if there is space on the boat, or pay for something private. The working hours were respected.

The place is very nice although remote. You can join the guests' activities at a discount. I taught yoga classes. There is only one in the morning, but the days off are when there are no interested people, so several days can pass before there is free. The meals are three but they can be scarce; as a vegetarian there were times when they replaced the protein and others when they did not. At different moments we felt that we were getting in the way as volunteers regarding the meals. This could be discussed with one of the managers. The experience was good but with some things to improve.

My experience at the accommodation was very beautiful; it is a place in the middle of the jungle that helps you connect with nature and the animals as well as with yourself. Really, if you know how to use your free time, it's a place for you since you can explore the place, watch the sunset from the kayak, meditate, paint, read, do yoga, among other activities to manage your free time. That is a fortune and a privilege; the meals they provide are extremely delicious and healthy, the shifts are adequate, and very nice since you can share and be in contact with the local girls. Thanks for everything.
